Arms are always to the side to protect yourself from direct collision. It's how you're taught to jump. Again, he didn't throw any limbs.What he did wrong was how he approached the header with a second player there. However, if you watch grown men play, and CCV is a grown man, that's how you do it. You get the most leverage possible that way. U20 WC's are a test for refs as much as it is for players. A lot of these guys are relatively low level to begin with. It helps them learn to officiate the game better.

This has to be the worst officiating I've ever seen in a soccer game. Referee was handing out yellow cards here and there for some challenges that were nowhere near yellow cards. Cameron Carter Vickers getting sent off was the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. VR technology was non-existent in this game to the referee. He didn't even bother going to the sidelines and watching the replay for himself.
