      I agree... I went from only tweeter, to tweeter and mids... It's definitely audible

    I wanted to share my experience with everyone... I have a 2024 Bronco (Big Bend) hard top and I replaced all 4 factory speakers with 6.75" component Kicker 47KSS6704 (125 Watts RMS each speaker), and did this ForScan tweak too... In my experience, the new speakers sound a little better (and louder) but they don't seem to have low end frequencies, even after removing the Ford EQ and setting the speakers to "Speaker & Tweeter". I've tried two different amps and still not very happy. Although, they are a little better than factory in the sense that they are louder. I do have a second amp connected to a 10" Kicker subwoofer and the aftermarket subwoofer sounds great, which helps fill in the missing low frequencies from the Kicker speakers... But, I want the speakers to have low end too so they can sound full. Ricardo.... I know you said your speakers sound better now but are you noticing that they are lacking in low-end frequencies, although they may sound better than factory? Which speakers did you install? Thanks for your input. Just curious. I hate to even say this but I feel like my factory speakers sounded better (but not as loud as my Kickers). lol. I had the standard stereo system, not the premium B&O.

      Dude I'm having the same issue sorta with my 2024 big bends I replaced the front dash speakers with 4 " JL audios with 300hz bass blockers, 6 1/2 JL audios in the rear mabett pods .. now I have more bass and no highs I haven't messed with forscan but the front dash speakers have alot of bass even with the bass blockers! The rears did wake up and sound better but Something must be off I gotta take a second look ...to be continued

      I feel you. I think mine is so much better than stock. But I don't have strong lows either. I think the only way is by adding a small amp and a good subwoofer. But no way did mine sound better as stock.

      @@louispena4735 Interesting! Did you install an aftermarket amp to power the JL speakers? For me, I installed an aftermarket JL 4-channel amp (and also a Pioneer amp for my aftermarket 10" tailgate subwoofer). I don't have much mid-bass from any of my 6.75" Kickers and I feel like I'm getting a little bit of distortion too even after adjusting the levels on the aftermarket amp and AudioControl LC7i line-out converter. I don't know if it's the KS series of Kicker speakers that suck or if it's the Bronco's ACM (even though I turned off the factory EQ using Forscan). Or maybe the issue is with the AudioControl LC7i line-out converter! Who knows! Although I feel like I did a good job tuning those levels. I know you can open up the LC7i and adjust more settings in it on the mother board but I dont know if that's the issues. Here's a helpful video regarding the LC7i in case anyone wants to understand is better: czcams.com/video/gv0SjdQCMmU/video.html

      @@ricardosworkshop I agree, it does sound a little better (louder) than the stock for me. But something still doesn't sound right! Unless the Kicker KS speakers just suck? I'm not getting a full range out of these. The midbass kinda sucks and there's a little bit of distortion too. I added a great aftermarket JL 4-channel amp plus a very powerful Pioneer amp for the 10" Kicker subwoofer I installed on the tailgate. But the speakers still sound off. They're lacking. I tried couple different amps too so I know it's not the amps. It's either the Kicker speakers, or the Bronco's ACM unit, or the LC7i line-out converter, or maybe the factory amp that came with the car. I'm not sure. I had a pro shop installed everything and still doesn't sound right. Especially with songs that have a lot of bass like dance music or hiphop. The aftermarket subwoofer works fine. I used Forscan to turn off the factory subwoofer that came with my 2024 Bronco, which worked, but lacks in power compared to the aftermarket 10" sub.

      @mychannel2877 Update- I removed the 300hz bass blockers and installed 600hz , went into forscan took off the eq, put the back speakers to speaker tweeter and installed the kicker key 200 ..did the auto tune and now it sounds night and day different still have the factory subwoofer but it sounds so much better the kicker key is the best upgrade you can do for these broncos I recommend replacing the cheap stock speakers as well the sounds soundstage up front is so much more lively and you can hear the rear speakers as well

  • @voxel999
    @voxel999 Před měsícem +1

    Dumb questions... you changed the rears to 26 which is "Speaker & Tweeter" on Rear Driver's side and "Tweeter & Sub" on the Rear Passenger side. Why not 2A so the Rear Passenger side has "Speaker & Tweeter & Sub"? You don't want a speaker on that side?

    • @ricardosworkshop
      @ricardosworkshop  Před měsícem

      I think the A is for sub in the back cargo area. I didn't try that with these speakers, but I think you'd need an amp and sub for that.

      @@ricardosworkshop So I have a 2024 that came with the stock Sub/Amp. Should I follow your input (26) or (2A) for the rear speakers. I'm asking cuz I have 4x 4inch JBL speakers coming in next weekend.

    So at 5:36 , this is what the ACM should be changed to? 727-01-01 should be xxxx-26xx-xxxx and 727-01-02 should be xxx1-xxxx-xxxx ? Is this also true for B&O systems? Please and thank you

    Thanks man. After all the upgrades and the software tweaks how would you rate the sound improvement? Does it sound better but still not as good as a high end car or is it at the level of any other high end sound system now?

    • @ricardosworkshop
      @ricardosworkshop  Před 4 měsíci +1

      It's definitely better. But I don't think you can get a high end sound without at least a 8in sub and a hardtop.
