Fortunately, most of the older buildings are listed so can’t be demolished or changed.

At the top of Silver Street where it joins onto Holt Road, on the right is "The Hall". This is where the Late Doctor Alex Moulton lived. He designed, developed and built the small wheel bicycle with suspension in the early 60's. The bicycle is still built there today but on a much smaller scale. What was the offices used to be the museum showing all the stages of development. It might still be there. This was situated opposite the factory that built the bicycles but still in the grounds of Alex Moulton's property. This factory is now used by someone else and is entered at the small roundabout a couple of hundred yards from the entrance to the hall on the right.

Yes that’s on another street and definitely worth telling the story in a future video. The company has new premises further up the road towards Holt.
