Chula Vista 9/15/85 -- one of the best shows of the year. 89 was a good year to get on the bus -- the last big wave gathering to a crest and a new wave of open-eyed hippie chillun climbing aboard to keep you (and all of us) good company. Happy trails, numbernine! @@numbernine2207

i had part of this show on one or two vinyl bootlegs not too very long after it happened , the quality was not fantastic , unlike this gem from our dear Elaine ❤ but the feeling was all there, i remember one cover was just a pic of Phil , and my friend Corey who gave me the armload of' boitlegs that included this show told me that was cause he was the leader of the group , and man oh man he is really in it up to his ears here, and i reeeeally love his singing harmony during this period too, ty Ms E !!!!!
If only The Rolling Stones had given more thought and cash to recording shows, then they'd have made more of a mark for themselves, but not more than the Grateful Dead did just as an act of LoVe!
Not really. On any given Stones tour the setlists were pretty much all the same. And so were the performances and arrangements. This is typical of most (nearly all) touring bands and the difference with the Dead is one of the things that makes them unique.
