I don't know if this is a joke or not but I would, punishment and suffering always makes victories feel much better so for people that are gone numb to the world this would be really cool.
Although not the actual full pain of death obviously.
Think about it, when games do not challenge the player the endings always feel like meh, but if the game is really hard then when you finish the game you are like "Yayy, I won" so if you are in a vr game and you get hurt when you die then when you finish the game you would be like "WOOOAAAHHH BABEHH! AT LONG LAST AFTER TRIAL AND TRIBULATION, I HAVE DEFEATED EVIL MCBADGUY!!!!"
It would make games a lot more emotional.

@UwUDaniUwU you need a pc,you need 1 or more apps,and you have to do all sorts of excess bullshit. All that should be required is turn the trackers on,equip them,connect them to the Bluetooth of the headset and play. All these companies have their brains up their assholes making things harder than they need be and yes this is possible they just don't do it so they can leach more and more money and time out of you.

Same, I want those VR pods you see in shitty MMO manhwas and sci-fi movies, I want to actually feel things, with full senses we would be more emotional in vr which would make it much better mentally, we would feel the pain of getting hit in games which would make defeating enemies actually feel good.
Sometimes games just feel like tasks used to waste time, like chores but I achieve nothing from doing it, like I am just doing it because the game told me to, but if they gave smells I would feel the world a lot more and care a lot more, It would not be a chore it would be an adventure
Think of how much more it could all be, It would feel meaningful, a legit reason to slave away under capitalism that does not make you feel like a hollow husk working dead sack of meat with no-one inside (Atleast thats how calitalism makes me feel lol, it really takes away the purpose of living and maybe VR could bring it back, Being a slave to desire always wanting the next new thing and not being happy when I get it gets real old real fast, Nothing makes me feel dead inside quite like playing games and watching youtube but there is nothing else to do lol, I think ae as a society have tricked ourselves long enough that desire is happiness but no, it really is not.)

we have only 3 senses in vr. sight, sound and touch, what I mean touch I mean the haptic suit. it's pretty cool tbh but if we could achieve greater than the 3 senses we have rn then we did it.

The worst thing is lag if you have it, im not epileptic or susceptible to any kind of sickness but when it gets really laggy and and jittery in VR i look like that akira meme ong.

Personally, immersion is important to me because VR is an escape from reality that I can’t really get anywhere else. I can’t wait to see what kind of game changers come to vr when it comes to stuff like this and immersion in general.

I had the valve index, 6 vive trackers and 4 base stations.
I had an entire living room, just for VRchat to play.
Also I the phantom sense which made the haptic vest useless ofc.
I’ve spent nearly 8 hours a day on vrchat, but I quit.

being that immersed would be very much a thing I'd wanna be! that would be sick to fully not need to exit vr aside from going to the bathroom. besides the entire reason I use vr is escaping my (dull) normal life, and go to another world! shit would be sick!

Add the full facetracking for the mouth the headset Varjo Aero for the best eyes tracking and the best visual better than watching a tv screen 4k. For the smell part tho that the only sense that i can live without in vr lol. Poo is poo or if I fart in vrchat i dont want other to smell it. Imagine doing erp some hole wont smell good 😂😉
