It’s moments like this where people who really underestimate John need to take a second look at. The man just more or less took out an entire gang on his own saved the farm and comes back and was like “that was nothing I’m just happy to help.” Man is a badass.
Agreed. New characters like Arthur and Charles are undoubtedly total badasses in their own right and I love them, but their badassery does not negate what a one man army John Marston ends up being by the time he’s Arthur’s age.
So cool how the VA for Marston sounds so similar to his original delivery in RDR1 yet it's clearly different, so much so that it almost sounds like a totally different character. I have no idea how they do it, but he really does sound a little younger.

Yeah, I can't even imagine the feeling rdr1 fans have when playing through the Epilogue. Must be surreal. I'll be picking up rdr1 soon and all I can say is I'm real excited.
As sad as I was to have just lost Arthur, the moment you fire that first shot as John in this game is absolutely fantastic. It's like Unforgiven, John Wick, and literally a hundred other movies where the absolute badass killer is trying so hard to be good and letting the little dogs bark at him and then he just shows a glimpse of his old self and everyone dies lol
John: is forced to kill cuz if he dosent him his wife and his son are all dead
Abigail: YoUr BaD i HaTe YoU
5:38 a bit overkill lol
In the west, that's known as 'just enough kill'
Haha I always do that to the last person in a fight
"WHAT CHOICE DID I HAVE!?"
Was there such thing as over kill back then?
Overkill is a new key word in Hearthstone
Still mad at Abigail cause she don’t understand he gotta go shooting this once if they wanna actually live there
She was scared of him dying
Zack
I just wish Abigail and JACK “for that matter” understand what he’s trying to do, it’s not because he wants to do it, it’s because he needs to do it. All he ever wanted to do is to protect his family and trying
to live a better life, but sometimes life will not give you what you want, it’s difficult for him, and yes I understand it’s just a video game but, it’s just such a damn good game!
@@juantony true
@@juantony See, i thought this too but then the more you think about her side the more you can see/agree with it. If "Jim" did what abi said just let the rancher get robbed, don't kill, get robbed yourself or take a few hits he wouldn't have been noticed. When he did the opposite - guy in town noticed his name John, (shoot out) rescues cattle (gets noticed by blond lady bounty hunter.. forgot her name couldn't care less about her character) and gets dragged back into gang shit. Goes back to black water and starts using john marston again and then gets noticed by the law and his family get kidnapped.
If he just took a few on the chin, head down and only acted in life or death, then barn doors wouldn't be as scary as they are. Though us as and the characters both John and Arthur have delved to deep into their story and too invested to do as Abigail says and thus history will repeat itself and Abigail is left right and widowed

Really annoys me how people shit on John so much in favor of Arthur. Why can’t they just be 2 badasses in a badass story? Why does one have to be better than the other? Personally I like John better but I still love Arthur, and I don’t go to every RDR video to say some bs against Arthur like some of y’all do about John smh
First name fr all these kids that never got to spend time with an OG of the serious. Hopefully next game will be about Dutch when he was a good role model with Hosea, Arthur, and John. Either that or it's about the legendary Landon Ricketts
@@SerpentSupremacy I've played both games, I just rather Arthur more but that doesn't mean John isn't a badass, Arthur just comes across as the badass older brother that put John on the right path

People are fickle. I don’t like them.
Dank Vader With all due respect Red Harlow is the OG of this series
Abigail was wrong for leaving John after this. John went and defended his employer, and His own family. John was being a man, doing what he had to do.
Except it was taking a toll on Abigail and Jack. Jack had to witness his father kill three men. That would be haunting for most people. Abigail left until she was sure that John really wanted to change.

1:59 I can’t even imagine the absolute high John Marston felt knowing he’d be able to gunsling again without repercussions from his boss, who _already knew_ that he needed a second chance at life
It’s moments like this where people who really underestimate John need to take a second look at.

5:35 can we take a moment to witness the pure brutality of that last kill
What gun was that?
2:30 Did... did he just check the cylinder on a single action revolver like a double action by swinging it out?
Man I said the same thing I was blown away at that
What's the difference between double action and single action? Jw..
@@bleachdrinker5628 single action mean you have to cocked the hammer back by hand before you fire, double action mean when you pull the trigger, the hammer will be cocked and then hit the bullet in one motion, most popular single action revolver is the single action army, and for double action revolver is too many to list
The problem with this scene however is that John Marston is holding a single action army, a revolver which the cylinder is not capable of swing out like a modern revolver, instead you open a gate behind the cylinder and load the ammo in one at a time

People are saying it's going to be an alien invasion instead of zombies this time due to a UFO that hovers and the green light John can stand under from the craft in one of the secret locations.
I think undead will be too cheap consumerism for Rockstar. It’s not original .
Charles Fischer how about a mixture of both like the aliens brought the zombie disease with them or something like that
Sal Vulcano what about vampires thoo
8:18 That is the one thing I hated about Abigail in RDR2, apparently to her living a normal life means rolling over for anyone who pushes you around. Adversity was not a thing only outlaws experienced. Even good people living normal lives gotta take up a rifle to protect whats theirs. John does not raise his guns to rob and steal but to provide and protect.
