Completing surveys can make you some money but it definitely takes a long time to accumulate enough money to earn enough points to qualify for a substantial payback. Some sites have higher priced survey payouts, but most seem to provide of a little spare change than anything else. Thanks for testing this out and sharing your experience!

I made about the same too. I just received the payment after 3 days. It's a slow process because their are some surveys that doesn't work or have technical issues which is a waste of time. They need to fix this.

I used to do focus groups all the time in the late 90a and early 2000s and would actually pay people a reasonable amount for my time. The one I did a few years ago paid me $200 but that's because we spent a full day evaluating and giving our views about their cars. And real focus groups are still out there but the internet has made this side hustle pretty much a waste of time. Although the quality of those opinions are not the same as what they got from someone who took it seriously because they were paid fairly for their time. I did a bunch of these over the weekend it took me over an hour on one and I made $1.50 and many of them collected a bunch of question info and then said I was not a candidate and threw me 10 cents. Yet they took over 7 or 8 min to tell me I wasn't. I say if you fill them out, at least screw them back and just give horrible opinions. Tell them the only programming that should be on TV is the masked singer and my 900 lb life as long as the host is Pee Wee Herman. That may teach them to not be so damn tight with their payouts.

yeah, i used to do time consuming surveys, but I don't mind paying people more and for a less tedious for people current in that situation. might take a while to look for them if they're fortunate enough to have a smartphone and internet.
Its not the best experience. I get rejected or froze out sometimes. I did make $20 in 3 weeks and got a $100 check sent from the Univ. of Vermont for a exhausting 30 min survey. You are not gonna make a livable income on it, but it beats playing phone games that pay nothing.

I do Qmee for surveys and make about $4 a hour. But I'm at work making $12 a hour when I'm doing them, so the combined is $16 a hour. I have a job staying with a elderly couple in case they need help, but never do.
I agree that this is not something which can replace a full time job or side hustle . But if you’re are watching Netflix or tv just browsing your phone, you could do this and get little pocket money for coffee or so.. just my opinion
The trick to making lots of money on survey junkie is just clicking on everything and going through the survey as fast as possible just making sure you look for attention check questions. They don't care if the data is accurate or not you still get paid. The people who post jobs on survey junkie don't value your time so then you shouldn't be expected to spend your hard earned time on them
I was able to accumulate $45 over the weekend. it takes a lot of discipline if you don't like sitting in one spot for hrs. many of these surveys can be lengthy with no points, but with today's gas prices, I would definitely take advantage. You won't get rich, but a couple of extra bucks never hurt anyone. a nice quick way to make some lunch money, too.
This is not working for me. When I click on a survey it just loads another one. It repeats itself reloading new surveys then finally a survey pops up and I can only answer 2 questions before an error pops up
I tried this evening, for FOUR hours. Truthfully answered the surveys, worked my butt off, and after four hours, I got 217 points. I'm not doing that anymore!! Usually when they leave they can make claims against the military and get paid monthly because of disability claims. It’s a smart move to be honest. You can make a claim from depression, mental stress, ptsd, or any bodily harm that happened. If you aren’t military you cannot do this so don’t worry about it if you aren’t. I only know about this because my husband is active duty and plans to do this but because he actually has gotten depression from the military and the military has really torn his body up. Tbh they deserve the paycheck. Military is tough life.

My dad lost hearing and didn’t go for payment til 10 years ago when he told me he lost after Vietnam. He said he got ringing in ear that wouldn’t go away. And he just wanted to get home and lied to pass tests. They felt over years not all there fault and gave him 120 a month. Which he was grateful for. Wish he had told truth tho when he came home. He of got a lot more. I know couple guys with severe ptsd who don’t have to work. And one who hurt his shoulder playing football in Syria his ex said he got 5000 and she had to pay for everything while single mom. Not sure he should of qualified for so much but he was hurt while stationed. He he has the mentality that he is owed. They broke up. A guy I dated had severe ptsd. I couldn’t handle his personality. What is she talking about? I've been doing this for 2 1/2 months and have made about $350. And you can cash out with a $5 minimum, not $10. I just did it yesterday. The most I've made in one day is $7. I could have made more but it gets tedious.l
Keep in mind that there have been updates to the site since her video. Also, she only spent 15 minutes per day and she wasn't able to qualify for a lot of them.

Hey, Survey Junkie is so not worth one's time, IMHO. Your time is worth so much more. You are giving valuable information to these companies, and they should reward more. I get that you can't get "rich" on SJ, which they tell you... but what they don't tell you is that you only get next to nothing. There has to be better side hustle jobs out there. I studied a year at college and wrote medical notes in Oncology for 1 month overseas and earned less than 1.6$ cad an hour 40 hours a week. Interesting. Hourlies were better at 16$. I will try some surveys too.

I know this comment is a year old, but that’s exactly what I do to! Taking the regular surveys can take some time and the points are not guaranteed.

The trick is finding the right surveys and really looking for that perfect time to points survey, you can find some that take 9 minutes and give out 80 points

I studied a year at college and wrote medical notes in Oncology for 1 month overseas and earned less than 1.6$ cad an hour 40 hours a week. Interesting. Hourlies were better at 16$. I will try some surveys too.
This would be of no use in Canada. I have had e-cards before from America, they cost too much with difference in the dollar and international shipping charges etc etc.

You have to understand that it is free money and that if they gave mass amounts out then there probably wouldn’t be an app.
I made $5 in 10mins...sometimes there are surveys that will pop up that are $1 to $16.
No way you made $5 in 10 mins lol I have been doing survey junkie for almost a year now and have never ever not once made $5 in 10 minutes. The most I’ve ever seen point wise is 160 to 200 points which is 1.60 and 2.00 and they are usually 10-15 minutes

My works from home full time, so we just hang out with each other & my son all day lol. We have vices like smoking (ect) so the money I make pays for that & gas in the car, not to bad. 🤔

I put my bank info in and got paid the day after. So I suppose it’s safe nothing sketchy has happened yet but if you have trust issues which is understandable, you can do PayPal.

Not trying to bash you or anything cuz I did watch the end of the video I'm pretty sure everyone of us whether we've been veterans or complete noobs and new to starting surveys can all say that this isn't a way to replace regular jobs because if that was the case more people would be doing it!
What this could potentially do is help out families we just need extra money or can't find jobs and instead of working a full time job maybe working a part time job along with doing surveys.
