But now many countries are recognising Talibans who are the staunch supporters of Al Qaeda , than how can we said that Al Qaeda is just a non state actors,,as the leaders of this organisation going to head the government of Afganistan....it is little bit confusing for me ..please make a clearity
To many, the Afghan Taliban is synonymous with terrorist organizations like al-Qaeda and ISIS.
But the Afghan Taliban is not recognised as a terrorist organization by many countries. For example, Afghan Taliban is missing in the US State Department's List of Foreign Terrorist Organizations.
Apart from this, the current version of Taliban that is in control of Afghanistan right now, is trying not to be seen as an example of Extremist Islamic Groups in front of the international community.
Taliban may harbour covert linkages with other terrorist outfits but the image that it is projecting to the world and the image that is being widely accepted by major powers is that of a insurgency or a revolutionary group which is now in control of the territory that they wanted.
In order to avoid being outcast as a Pariah State by the International community and face the wrath of economic and political sanctions, the Taliban has to give up its extremist Islamic ideology of the brand that is supported by other terror groups.
Most importantly, Taliban, unlike al-Qaeda and ISIS, can never openly challenge West and it's values and institution.
So the arrival of Taliban Regime in Afghanistan does not indicate a revival of clash of ideology.
