How the hell do you judge trunks rattling? At spl car audio shows they use a meter and microphone to measure decibel levels. At SQL car audio shows battles they use judges. At SQ audio shows they used microphones and judges. How are trunk shows judged?
It’s judged based on the crowd’s opinion bro. Trunk rattling/slapping been a thing down here it’s our own thing we was raised up with . We don’t go by the meter, we go by that sound of the trunk 💯
It’s the exact opposite of SPL/dB. Instead of minimizing rattles to get louder on the meter, the more it flexes and shakes and vibrates, the “louder” it’s judged to be by the crowd. My Tahoe would get laughed at competing with those rules because of how much deadener I used, but most of them would tap out if they sat inside, and I would destroy them on the meter… Totally opposite ends of the car stereo world.
