@@predatorseek1171 Don't assume all British people did. I have spent the last six years mocking those who did, and have had some intense, and savage arguments with those who voted for Brexit' - both online and offline. Alot of them are ignorant and believe everything they read in some of the UK's most right wing newspapers like the Daily Mail, and The Telegraph.
I have also been constantly critical of Boris Johnson and his government. They are a bunch of lying, duplicitous fxxkwits who have ruined the UK, and are responsible for permanently destroying our relationship with the rest of Europe.
I am still critical of them, given their slow response to the situation in Ukraine, and the fact that the UK government have received donations from Russian oligarchs and their wives. I think it's only now being discovered that the 'Leave' Campaign received Russian money the hat may have come directly from the Kremlin. It's pretty serious stuff.
The government also had parties behind closed walls while the rest of us were in lockdown or in hospital during 2020 and last year.
In the most difficult period for Europe since 1945, we in the UK have the worst, most incompetent government imaginable.
So please don't patronise me, and don't paint all British people as Brexit' voting numpties. Just as many did NOT vote to leave the EU. I think you need to know this and be aware that not all Brits wanted Brexit, nor do they support Boris Johnson and his callous and mean spirited government.

@@greg64westside19 I am not German - but the TGV set the standard that now links the whole of Europe together. You're probably a lot younger than I am,but during the 1980s and early 1990s innovation still was something for America and Japan. It were several projects, the TGV and ICE being just two of them, but also the Channel Tunnel and the ESA that gave a continent the self-confidence that Europe could play with the big guys. The TGV also wasn't just French as it rapidly became the nexus of a European project, linking Italy, France, the UK, Spain, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. That means linking many of the old EEC-states.
You have to think of it as people thought in those days: the Berlin Wall had only just come down, Schengen and the EU were still in the pipeline and Western Europe was just coming out of a bitch of a recession, and was also just loosening the American cultural and economic stranglehold.

@@nenad2427 Of course, I keep abreast of technological innovations in the field of transport. Here you are referring to the technology of the shuttle to electromagnetic lift in a depressurized tube, simply that this means of transport can no longer really be considered as a train. It does not have a wheel, it does not rest on a track and above all it has no interoperability with the railway networks, which would make its ease of use much less good. Moreover, the technology is still being tested and absolutely not able to achieve the promised speeds nor the ability to carry humans. Therefore its arrival is not for tomorrow and the financial costs are expected to be staggering, the profitability of its use is to be studied. Finally, the electricity consumption of the infrastructure is enormous to the point of making this «future» means of transport less «clean» than the plane!

It's not a station, not that I'm aware of. This is the Dangeau Garage.
The last station the TGV A n°325 has stopped to was the Massy TGV station, to take onboard the technical team and journalists. It was then towed by the TGV A n°313 to the Dangeau Garage to be ready for the run.
