Interesting intro to Ambient.. I would add the following artists who have as a huge and ground breaking influence on this genre … The KLF ‘chill out’, The Orb , Global Communication, Mixmaster Morris , Tangerine Dream 😊
I would have liked it if you had played a short part of the tracks you mentioned, because I don't know any of them and would have liked to get an idea about how they sound without having to pause the video and look them up. But thanks for your work anyways.

Thanks for the video! I don't think Michael Stearns gets enough credit for pioneering the genre. Listen to the album "Morning Jewel" (1980). Then listen to his "Desert Moon Walk" (1977) and tell me it's not Dark Ambient. :-)
