Thanks I have a new level idea of a jungle level where you can use the MechaKoopas to Surf and move faster underwater
I found out a couple days ago that the SMB2 mushroom could let you ride on cannonballs, i have always wanted to do it in SMM2
These are so cool! It makes me think of the possibilities if Nintendo didn’t kill the game 2 years early 🤔

Actually, the latest update was on 2020...
Still, what a pity that they chose updating (and begrudgingly, no less) Mario Kart 8 Deluxe over continuing with Super Mario Maker 2's updates. SMM2 deserves more a wave-based update than Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, especially considering how lacklustre MK8D's turned out to be.

6:51 luigi could also press the ZR button and then luigi will start falling but if you press ZR at the right moment he will climb up without needing to dive back to the wall or it just works in the original super mario bros 3D world and the switch version

Also if you use the mechakoopa spinjump thing in night sky you can fly with it and in any mode you can change directions with it by jumping on a different side of the mechakoopa
