- During the elite performance training day, hosted by Lifecykel Labs and Better Breathing Australia, UFC champion Jon Jones gives some fighting tips to the Canterbury Bulldogs team.
Julian Mitchell, CEO of Lifecykel Labs said "We are extremely honoured to work with Jon Jones and learn from his mindset on how he operates as an elite athlete. Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs Head Coach, Cameron Ciraldo said "Our players can learn a lot from Jon Jones. His focus, strength and resilience especially under pressure is something we can all look up to and learn from."

Cormier's body was beat to shit before he ever started MMA. It does shoe how impressive Cormier was.
@@jamestyler9050yea he did have that advantage but cormier is powerfully built too. It has its own advantage in wrestling/grappling/judo as your center of gravity is much lower and you are most likely larger and stronger than your opponent (same weight).

@@jamestyler9050yes, you are right, DC is truly an elite level athlete. He is very well rounded. That's why he was officially the two weight champ in the UFC. That's no joke, it is a huge accomplishment. Jones might have stained his legacy a bit on the surface but we should not be surprised by what he has accomplished. We tend to underestimate him a lot and the fact that you feel that it is impressive for him to be able to hang with the likes of Gus or Jon, is a testament to this. Why don't we say Gus and Jon were amazing because they were able to trade blows with DC, the two weight champ? Let's not forget that DC was also a seasoned olympian with a big gas tank.

Good question. How many non fighter athletes could Jon take? I've been jumped a few times and past 4-5 they kinda just start getting in each other's way. So stamina would probably be the issue. How many sets of 5 could he murder lol. I think at least 2. Maybe 3 if he's had time to prepare lol.

As a JJ fan I've seen him in loads of title fights and even between fights he's never looked like this. The criticism isn't the fact he has lost his touch or is on the decline. He's a beast. End of.
