I'm just now seeing this video, and it's nice seeing you two talking. After IWABO dropped off the face of the Earth, everyone wondered what was going on. The chemistry IWABO had, you could tell, was legendary, and was another reason I wanted to be in a band. I'm happy Krysta is making new music, and that you have this channel. Definitely going to be following both closely from now on. I'm also glad you threw clips from the Ruining It For Everybody dvd. The "Jesus" bit was my ringtone for a good year. Lol

Really enjoyed seeing both of your faces. I’ve got many great memories of two visits Iwabo made in Charleston, SC. My buddy Ron and I hosted a metal show on local radio station 98 X at the time. We introduced you guys to the area and we force-fed our audience into loving you guys 😂. Rickshaw you weren’t part of the first show, but you were there for the second go round. You guys killed it both times. I can’t remember if it was the second or first trip but you guys helped raise money for my boy Ron to put towards him getting a new kidney. You were and still are beautiful and special people. It’s amazing some of the things that still stick in your memories after all these years. ❤️🤘🏻

Saw IWABO at a festival in Belgium in 2010. I was there for Sepultura, but you impressed the fuck out of me! A fan ever since. You guys were way ahead of your time. I still check the videos to get pumped for the day.

I fucking love Korn. I went to the Houston show for that concert. This whole interview had me cheesing so hard. I swear to god I looked Krysta up because Alaskan Flounder Basket had come back up in my playlist, and I am not disappointed with Empyrean Lights at all. Apparently everyone forgets she had clean vocals in IWABO and how good they were and still are. Thanks for brightening up my day with this in 2020. Keep rocking and doing what you do best. 🤘🏻

So we had to fire this dude who built our crates to ship shit so I said fuck it I’ll do it for a bit. Listening to mariachi and romantica was driving me insane so I brought my nose thing and would blast music. I put on IWABOs first album and just blasted it. This girl is worked with for like five years and never spoke to walked by and gave the horns headbanging. Then my other coworker was like I need this for when I work too. Basically a shop full of me a burnout, and legit Mexicans.. we all loved IWABO. It became a thing, I’d always blast You Ain’t No Family and throw shit.. we’d laugh. Good times man 🫡

I was lost in the dark without any news from her and then I decided to look up online to see if there was something about her and gladly there was! I will check out her new band. From all the members in IWABO you two were by far the most charismatic ones! God, this video just feels good. Just two former bandmates bro-ing out. So wholesome! Makes me sad I never got to see IWABO live. I was supposed to in 2009 at Soma San Diego with blessthefall, August Burns Red, and Enter Shikari, but you guys had to miss out for some reason. Empyrean Lights is absolutely something I’ll be following from now on!

You guys toured Lancaster PA a shit load of times.(which is where I lived at the time) so many memories, During 1 show I let Krystal fall and hit her head on concrete... while she was crowd surfing
At another show you guys played an instrumental set without her cuz she was sick.
And at another show Michael you were so impressed with how much I knew the songs that u decided to point at me through out the show.

I just recently busted out my iwrestledabearonce EP, Its All Happening, and Ruining It For Everybody CDs (yes, CDs) to blast in my car. Glad I came back to watch this interview. Maybe its just me, but it seems like Krysta super misses her IWABO days. Glad I got to see you guys a few times back in the 2009-2012 era. I am still wishing upon a star for a one time reunion album titled "Its All Ruined For Everybody". Ha! Peeace

Woow. Yo. You guys were the FIRST concert i ever went too. It was in atlanta with Of machines, Inhale/Exhale, and Miss May I with IWABO headlining. Pretty sure it was around Christmas time. Krysta was opening presents and shit on stage. So fucking cool.

IWABO was my favorite band. I first discovered them in 2008 right after I came back from Afghanistan. I saw them on MySpace music and they had a picture of, believe it or not, Darth Maul ( don't know why but as a Star Wars fan, I thought it was awesome) with a song title of "Taste Like Kevin Bacon." I was hooked ever since.

What was the actual reason for the split? And has there been any talks about maybe continuing the band with either singer??
@@Gojira_Sama the band couldn’t sustain itself with the amount of money being made. The band leader moved onto other things and wouldn’t let the other 4 continue as the band, so we all quit.
