    The tyre dressing brush is amazing. I never fails to give smooth patchless results. I'm using mine on low profile tyre and it is just the right size. I can run the brush round twice and it's done.

    I have all 3 of these items. The cheap tyre brush I used and after a quarter of a tyre I went back to my old Amazon one. Then got a DF tyre brush...yes pretty dear...but night and day. So nice to use! The dressing brush is made as a make up brush...Google it. Got mine from Carscope, but for some reason I'm not the biggest fan of tyre dressings...yet!

Got the detail factory brush a month ago and it's another winner as you say seems to clean better for me and not as harsh. Keeping my old tuff shine one for the rare occasions I have the wheels off as it will be perfect for carpet arch liners.

    I knew youd like the DF tyre brush, i haven't seen anyome say anything to the contrary. I've had mine about 9 months and no real signs of wear really. I've have the dressing applicator about the same time, that one is just starting to drop the hairs but, only just and makes no difference to the application of GT to my wheels. In fairness to In2Detailing, its not their one, it's a different brand and possibly, it's my fault, i dont clean it out just chuck it back into its little garage. 😂. All the best Martin.

    Good video Martin, i knew you would like the DF Tyre brush.I have 3 of the tyre dressing applicators ( 1 Carscope & 2 Chinese make up brushes as they are described) & i always rinse mine out. However a word of warning, that disc of soft bristles are only bonded to the base & can detach from the handle if used or washed to agressively I would suggest only a light swill with warm water & leave to air dry or gently wipe dry(ish). Don't be tempted to shake it a lot !!.👍🏻

  • @tier1detailing
    @tier1detailing Před rokem

    Thanks for the video Martin. My conclusion after using the DF brush for 6 months now...if you wash vehicles on any type of abrasive flooring like pavement or pavers, the rubber surround will wear out as you clean the bottoms of the tires.
    Also wish the bristles were in between where they are now and the tuff shine brush. Bristles simply aren't stiff enough to use on floormats

    Loving my DF brush over the £3.50 one as well Martin, I feel the bristles are flexing around the rubber rather being fixed in the obtuse angle of the cheapie, but as you said both do the job!
    The make up brush I thought used up much more product than a sponge application but you do have that control element so I’m still unsure of it still, loved the impromptu test of the guard by dropping it 😂😂

    H there Martin I think it was you that convinced me to buy the same tyre brush you use and I think I will have to follow you in upgrading. I always did think that over time the bristles would soften and get into the rubber instead of skipping over it but sadly not. I have no doubt that with elbow grease it does a good job but the new one looks better £10 better I'm not sure but a lot of what I think is if a chemical or tool improves the experience that is the way to go. Sold.

    Very interesting. I'll look at the brush one day, but its the applicator that i like the look of. Foam ones don't seem to get into the details of tyre lettering and leaves a sort of white residue until you work it in thoroughly. GT smells sooooo nice (alcohol maybe?)
