    Sometimes
    what a person DOES
    is far more interesting
and certainly more entertaining than meeting them when they’re not doing it

The joke Bob made about his back up singers sounding more like the Raelettes… was because Clydie King (one of his main backup singers) was an original member of the Raelettes. 😂

I met Don Johnson in Miami Vice days at the Wheeler Opera House. I said "Are you lost Don?" He said "No, I'm good." I'll never forget it. I opened the door for Candice Bergan once too. She sneered her sneer.

My first Bob-show was Greensboro '78.
My girlfriend found Motel6 "cheap" but Holiday Inn acceptable. While waiting for th guy to fetch my key, I looked over the counter & saw a piece of paper with "phone-calls Mr. Dylan would receive & suite 218-221; th guy handed me th key to room 211, right near the elevator...
Bob & some guy come strolling down th hall, towards the elevator, & we (she & I) step into the hall & speak. He (you know "he" who), stops, turns around, acknowledges us AND LETS ME TAKE HIS PICTURE!
...th photo is not good : I was shaking!
    I love "Street Legal".

Sure, stroke your ego but with fact : I didn't say anything about sitting with an open door ---smoking hashish--- hopin Bob would walk by, or tryin to talk a background singer outta her travel-bag, or locking down th elevator for about an hour chatting it up with some "Brit"(?) that was in th entourage...I didn't say anything about getting on th Blue Ridge Parkway at the NC/VA border nor Makin-Th-Beast-With-Two-Backs on th trunk-lid of my girlfriend's new car before we got home...
