City of Las Vegas jail committed to not just housing, but helping inmates.
A new program offered at the city of Las Vegas Detention Center teaches inmates the skills needed to land jobs when they leave the jail. The optional program began in September and is offered to all inmates that would like to participate. The 22 graduates of the program serve as proof that many who land in the detention center for whatever reason, do want a better life, free of crime.
