Iâm in zone 6 - I havenât seen much of a problem with thrips. I usually just let nature take its course. I had aphids last year which are easy to just spray off with water.
Your Florentina is beautiful,, it looks huge. I planted one 8/23 Iâd like it around an obelisk but not sure if itâs feasible. Iâm in zone 5 and Iâve also got kiss me Kate and Iâm hoping to use obelisk as wellâŠ.
@@sviet3637 Thank you! It does get huge as it is very prolific and puts out a ton of canes if it is happy! I ended up adding an additional arch to support it. You could keep it trimmed if you want. Itâs a beauty!

Kiss me kate is definitely slower for me than Florentina. Some of it had rabbit damage so I canât really tell yet. It did better last year. Thank you. The purples and blues really complement all other colors!
