The one thing I dont think is right is that Mikey says “just quit”. everyone in Toumen respected takemichi because he never gave up. The whole plot was built on that, especially Mikey, he trusted takemichy with his life because he never gave up, and since he reminded him of his late brother, one of the closest people to him, he was held at the highest standard which is why no one wanted really to fight him because he wont give up, pretty sure you would have to kill him before he gives up.
