- On April 4, 2021, France banned the headscarf for anyone under the age of 18. But the western conception of the ‘veil’ goes back to the European colonisation of the Middle East, and even further before that.

@Port Sap Yes they are.
These people make me sick to my stomach. Funny how it’s all men who started this trend of hijab as oppression for women. The sad part is many of our sisters fell into this belief and were colonized in their minds to believe that hijab was/is a form of oppression. Alhamdulilah I’m proud to wear my hijab, following in the footsteps of the most pious women that lived on this earth. May Allah keep me steadfast. I pray all our sisters find strength and gain knowledge in wearing the correct hijab. Freedom and liberty is not through removing your hijab or making it more appealing to on lookers.

Your Bible tells women to behave modestly, if you look at the fact that in most Christian countries women do not behave modestly, whereas our Muslim women wear beautiful hijabs and burqas to cover them. And you say you guys are christian? How? Your God-given Bible has been distorted. So we cannot call it the book of God. But no one has been able to distort what the Qur'an has given to God. This is why we follow the Qur'an, and all these things will be found in the Qur'an. You will find solutions all the problems in your life in the Qur'an. There was a request to read it once. Someone living in the broken time machine. and almost all of them never read their religion book page by page.
The votes do NOT mean that the ban will become law yet. *Most likely the law will never be passed.* only in French public schools wearing of ALL religious symbols are banned since 2004. This already bans Islamic (hijabs, niqabs), Christian (veil, cross jewelry), Sikh (turban, patka), Jewish (kippah) and other religious signs.
In Turkey, you cant see anything like that. We respect all people believe and let them what they think they have to do. Shame on France they forbid children to do what they think they have to do. A teenager can think he/she should wear hijab or turban or kippah but forbidding these kind of things in Schools is just forcing, disrespecting and humiliating them.
@@mehmetemirkaraaslan4339 children aren't free of thinking and are easy to manipulate you have not the back ground of france so please avoid to talk about that : catholic church used to be the biggest ennemy of france before we banned them from our public life , shool and institution always plotting agains us same go with islam if we made it harder to extremist to recruit new brainwashed terrorists i dont see the problem.
@@morglloracle123 It can avoided by education not with force! Forcing people never solves problem.
Well this is very upsetting.
Trt always does topics that most media refuse to.

I Don't know france they don't seem to be to happy with the "civilisation" thing
Hell they look pissed to be forced to remove the veil
If the hijab not banned in certain Turkish institutions????
The answer to your question is in your question itself @5:24, you said muslim women, then by women you mean adult female... right? and you became adult ( independent) at the age of 18, right? So they banned hijab for female children below 18 yrs (although i think the age should be till 16 for banning ),then hijab is not banned for women right! .Still i think it's more about culture and place, and also you hypocrite people won't like to understand this, when there are several Muslim countries where there are harsh punishment, beating women for not following burqha or hijab (in your iran, iraq, Saudi Arabia, yemen, sudan, oman and other muslim majority countries), at least they are just banning that for children but you guys did for lifetime for women. Stop asking for freedom when you can't give that to your own people !!!!
Its time for Turkey to invest more in Indonesia considering the historical ties in the past between Aceh and Ottoman or between Mataram and Ottoman and until now the Indonesian people have always remembered the greatness of Ottoman in this time.
Nah, the current regime just love money from China. They even reject some good project from Japan. 🙄🙄🙄
Harem is NOT a muslim invention at all. I hate it when ignorants link harem to islam. Harem type of thing is strictly prohibited in islam anyway. They are a cultural thing which goes back thousands of years. Ancient Persians, Assyrians, Babylonians, Chinese all had harems and this long before the advent of islam
This is not anywhere near the same because this time its for different reasons and it's in France
Nun wearing scarf is devotion.
Muslim woman wearing hijab is oppression.
Duh both do it for their religious practice.
Why so much love for veil? Are they blind cant they see veil on mary
It's not first time.
The same policies were used against Jews. When modestly dress was part of Christianity and still is.
The nuns wear modest clothing. The royalty in European middle ages used viel for higher class aristocratic females. That's why the queen used to cover her head till this day.
Min. 5.19 France (interdiction of headscarf and clothes on the beach)
To the creator of the video, at 4:28: you explicitly mentioned that they were veiled and had pictures of them unveiled taken. why would you post the pictures of them UNVEILED??? horrendous. please know that if a woman is veiled, under NO CIRCUMSTANCE, can any person that is not directly related to her can see her. don’t be ignorant and disrespectful
either way, lovely video thank you for spreading this information.
Excellent
2:45 this still happens but now it's through social control.
