Mindful Creativity - Zentangle from the Heart

On a rainy afternoon in Hong Kong, I am missing my sons who study/work and live in Canada after having spent the month of May together on a long over due family vacation. So I let my “pen sooth my soul”.
My mindful creativity time is the most rewarding when the art comes from a place of gratitude and heart. I’m glad I captured this simple but meaningful tile creation to share what “one stroke at a time” can do.
I use these videos to reinforce tangles with students from my class and show ways they can use the tangles they learn.
The video is sped up x2 so that you can see the results more quickly. Feel free to pause and rewind as needed.
There are instructional subtitles with music that you can mute as you create.
Tangles used in this video are FLUX, CRAZY NZEPPLE AND ZINGER
Materials used are Zentangle PHI tile in white, 01 black Micron pen, 05 brown Micron pen, black graphite pencil, white charcoal pencil and blender.
