Good boots do bring stuff to the table but it shouldn't keep anyone from being motivated because they feel "stuck" not having 150+ bucks to spend on a pair
It’s best to go for previous models and if you’re lucky enough find them in retail stores for way cheaper elite boots for so cheap. Which I’ve done for years.

yea. i got the Neo 4 Betas for around USD 250 / Euro 232. It's ridiculous how much more expensive it is in Europe and US! I mean were the boots shipped in gold containers and sat in the Business Class section of the plane?

Can't recommend the 442s enough but, you can find the Mizuno Morelia elite very often for less than the 442s, and the Mizuno elite are still a notch or two above in terms of quality. I have them both.
I got myself and my brother a pair of the 442 V2 Pros for $60 each. At that price I can’t think of a better option. Shout out to Joe’s New Balance Outlet lol

Most of these boots you can get at a lower price. If you wait for a colorway to get older then the newest colorways that was just released. What I do is buy the older generation of a top boot like a Vapor, Tiempo, Copa, and or any other silo. You can save much more money cause older colorways and older boot generations go on sale to make way for new models.

I bought the Mizuno Morelia Neo IV Beta Elite FG/AG because you talk so much nice about them. First 1 month i was so happy because they feel to good while training seassions. They are the most comfy leather boots i ever had but I was getting blisters all the time in the heel. That did not stop me from using them (with some taping it worked). Before i got the Mizunos i bought the Nike Tiempo Legend 10 Elite and after two weeks into those, the sole started to come off in the toebox area. I thought with the Mizunos i finally found a shoe that survives one season, but no. I play on Ag pitches in Germany and rarely FG. After like 3 games they transformed from looking brand new into the same problem i had with the Nike but worse. The Sole on the tip of the toebox came of. I desided to glue them and i put a strip of fabric tape on the tip for protection and Ktape along the sole at the toebox for a little less friction between this part of the boots an the ag. It worked like half a season ( i changed the Ktape every game cause it ripped and had to glue them one more time. Its like a Love-hate relationship i had with them. Now i am moving on. I ordered a Nike ZOOM VAPOR 15 PRO AG-PRO. Lets see if they get a long life with me. And if not i can afford a new pair inseat of glueing and taping.
The best alternative is buying old elite boots for often halv the price.

I HAVE actually tried the Yatagarashu as Adler were kind enough to send them out to me. They've got a very nice upper but I never got along with the tooling which I felt was a bit clunky especially around the forefoot, and there was an imbalance around the midfoot that I didn't care for either. Lovely upper mind, but that tooling is a deal breaker for me sadly. /Jay

-do the mercurial super fly 9’s work the same as the vapor 15’s
-does the position you play impact which boots you should get, for example my friend plays striker and he wears the merc 9’s, but I’m a bit bigger and slower, so does it matter which boots I get?
postion does not realy matter for what boot u buy and i am pretty sure they are the same altho i had both i prefere the vapor 15s

unfortunately i think Jay has narrow feet and always prefer the Neos!
I am, but personally I like the Neos and Alphas more - mostly because of the slightly narrower tooling on the Morelia II compared to the width of the rest of the upper. It's still phenomenal and IMO by far the best traditional leather boot - by my preference lies with the Neo and Alpha at this point. /Jay

I have boots that cost 50$ dollars and are really good
If they’re not real leather, I’m not interested. I don’t care about the price, they do need to be perfect. I used to wear the adidas Mondiale, problem with those is they were for a narrow foot. When I was younger I would wear the Maressi a brand you could only buy in Italy , but they were a real soft leather and would only last about 8 months. Now the only shoe I bother wearing is the puma kings kangaroo leather, without all the fancy stud shapes which I cant stand. Now if Juve drafts me I will just get my own shoe maker, since most shoe brands only are good for a specific foot dimension and not the general public.

The problem with the neo morellia beta IV elites is how easily they wear i have to say after 10 years of wearing the top range nike and adidas boots i was immediately impressed with how good the mizunos were however three matches in i ran into a problem the soleplate was seperating from the upper i had played on firm ground each time which was the right surface to match my boots but they still wear away at a rapid rate great boots but if u on a budget or need longevity i would not go for these
