- The repercussions of George's death are eventually revealed in the teaser for the Young Sheldon season finale. To be fair, the Big Bang Theory prequel series hasn't always done the best job of maintaining the flow of the popular comedy. It rewrote history and produced a plethora of narrative holes over the years. That occurred when the cheating incident involving George was retweeted early in the last season of the program, as a part of broader efforts to enhance the character's reputation. But without violating the canon, the writers were unable to write themselves out of the death of the Cooper patriarch. The official trailer for the official trailer for the Young Sheldon series finale official trailer has been released by CBS (via TV promos) following the tragic death of George.

The way Mary had a total breakdown when George died was crazy because he loved her so much and she didn’t give it back

George Cooper was a good man and a loving father. Lance Barber portrayed him beautifully. I’m really going to miss this show. I looked forward to it every week. The last two episodes will be heart wrenching.

Young Sheldon was way better than the big bang. Sheldon was spoiled as a child he is a spoiled adult needs to grow up.
Each show has their place. There is no Young Sheldon show in existence if Big Bang Theory did not become hugely successful first. The character of Sheldon, considered the weirdest & oddest in the bunch, was probably the best character to delve into his past to find out why he did become so nerdy & quirky. It was a good decision by the studios to follow his evolution, instead of the other Big Bang characters, so that us audiences can see why he became how he was later in life in Big Bang.

I'm 100% not ready for this finale at all. I'm not sure if I'll be able to watch the finale all at once since I'm going to be basket case big time. I watch HULU instead of watching TV on cable. Thankfully since I stream all of my shows, I don't know if I could make it through the finale in one go. I can see me pausing it a lot . My sister died recently. I turned her bedroom into my office where I also have a TV. It's going to be an emotional night for me big time.

Anyone who’s watched the BBT knows that Georgie is the owner of a successful tire shop chain. Georgie’s FIL owns a tire shop. A couple episodes ago Georgie’s FIL hired Georgie. Anyone can do the math.

You can say THAT again. And I agree with you 200%, Sheldon has no real feelings humanity, or love for anyone other than himself. My heart goes out to mary, meemaw, missy, georgy and Mandy and even baby cece but as far as I'm concerned, sheldon gets scant sympathy from me. He doesn't deserve it. He was never that polite and respectful to George senior.
That’s because Sheldon is autistic. Back in the 80s, it was rarely, If ever, diagnosed. Some have even mentioned Aspergers.

Maybe for some reveal but I hope it was an artistic choice. In real life it often comes out of nowhere and seems like any other ordinary day until someone breaks the worst kind of news to you.
You wanted to see him suffer a heart attack and die? I felt the writers handled this with dignity and finesse. Sometimes Death isn't convenient. Sometimes dying people are not surrounded by friends and loved ones saying their final goodbyes. Sometimes someone does knock on your door to tell you someone you loved is gone

The humor of Young Sheldon was more creative than the BBT. The BBT male characters were either exceedingly weak or shallow and one can only use coitus as a punchline so often. It's like comparing the Dean Martin celebrity roasts to Young Sheldon vs these sad, vile roasts of today.

The Sheldon's in both shows are annoying as hell. But in young Sheldon none of the other cast members are annoying. However in The Big bang theory both wallowitz and koothrappali are somewhat annoying. Both Leonard and Penny are not annoying at all and almost like breath mints and the other two little ladies are wonderful too all in all I have to agree with the guy below I give the edge to Young Sheldon
