Let me first say thank you so much for doing this song, and I hope for much more Myrath in the future. So if I understand you correctly, Harmonix wouldn't even let the sound be in the background? Did they give you any reason for this? It's honestly depressing to hear the chorus this new way.
The missing lyrics are in Arabic which isn't supported in RBN so we had to mute them out. Trust me we tried everything with Harmonix to get them in there (even leaving them in the backing mix but unauthored), but nothing worked. The only options were to remove the Arabic from the audio or not do the song.
Arabic isn't a supported language in the Rock Band Network, so Harmonix won't allow it in the audio. Even if we put it in the background. We've tried every way to keep it in there, but the only option was to mute the parts, or we couldn't do it at all. We've ran into the same problem with some of the Fail Emotions songs. They have a few phrases in Russian, and it's not a supported language either. So it had to be removed. Sucks, but we can't do anything about it unfortunately.
No it's still toast. MS claims to be working on it, but so far they haven't (and it's been nine months now). I just released all our production videos last night as it appears that they might not ever get released as RBN content and people should at least see what could have been.
