There is no reason why it can't grab both of them.

[Story Things]
Sonic takes the crash for Tails, killing himself in the process, but destroying Furnace from the collision. Tails stays to see what happened to Sonic, but manages to leave undetected once he sees Starved in the distance. Tails then comes to confront Starved where Fight or Flight takes place, finding Sonic dead in the background. This leads to Fight or Flight happening, where Tails is seen alone, but alive, battling Starved, unless Sonic ends up alive with him in another cover, then this comment is useless.
Someone mentioned this in the original video, but I think it’d be nice if there was a version of this where Tails saves Sonic from running into Furnace, maybe by using the mechanic from Sonic 3 or Mania where Tails can airlift Sonic for a little while.

or tails saves sonic by sacrificing himself after sonic goes insane with no one left at his side eggman has rotted way due to his diet he has not met knuckles yet either

And probably lose a tail.
Tails beeing with sonic would change lots of things. First that probably sonic wouldnt die since tails seemed focused. So he would see furnace in the distance and would save sonic ( grabbing him with his fly ability ) before he crashed onto furnace. So yesh that reality where tails comes with sonic is a good ending reality where both would survive and probably kill starved with the help of the others.

S: Wow, Eggman made his robots even worse since the last time! Hey Red head! I think your robot only LOOKS like me, but isn't fast enough to be me!
E: *you don't even know what is waiting for you, morbians*

*Furnace flies under both of them*
T: *Looks down* Sonic! Go as fast as you can! I'll distract him!
S: This sounds awful for me, but fine!
*Tails now sings alone against Starved*
*In the ending, Tails catches up with Sonic*
S: Tails! A little help here!
*Tails lifts Sonic up a bit, saving him from crashing into Furnace*
Now a bit of alternative lore: Tails reveals Robotnick's actual plan, and goes after Sonic to the little planet. On his way, he sees Furnace flying away with Amy, which makes him hit robot down. Amy now lives, but she's trapped in Stardust Speedway instead of being cooked. Soon after, Tails and Sonic finally get to Stardust Speedway and fight against Eggman and Furnace. Because Tails distracted Starved, Sonic was more focused on the road and saw Furnace ahead. After they both survive Stardust race, they finally find Amy. After freeing planet from machines (not animals, sadly), Sonic and Tails followed Eggman to the Destroyed ScrapBrain zone and encounter him. Both of them have to face enemy, who actually wants to eat them. The only thing left here - is the question... Fight Or Flight?

Y'know it would be interesting if tails and sonic had turns since he's there with sonic. Of course, tails would have fight or flight vocal.

You should also use the 2.0 version of Prey, where there is more dialogue and notes.

@@HyperGlaceon Well it's basically just 1.0 but with extra notes. dialogue, and stuff. It's basically just 1.0 but tweaked, but I get where you're getting at.
