Renogy 2000 watt and 700 watt inverter broke well under rated power. Renogy refunded one inverter already waiting for the second. Update: the warranty was honored. Full refund. However, I did repurchase the 2000 watt model. I believe it was user error which caused the inverter to malfunction. You must hard wire to get the full 2k. Because I chose to buy another inverter after 2 failed really says a lot about their company. Some companies don't stand behind their products. Renogy does. I purchased from their website and not third party vendors
Bought a 3000 for my RV several years ago. It never worked well. After sitting all winter, now it trips off when turned on. Stripped the system down to no output connections, and 14 volts input. It won't turn on?? Any known cures?? Bought another 3000 from a different maker, and will install it in two days.
No, there is no high frequency, transformerless inverter on the market that's any good. They're all "poor man inverters" They're what people buy when they can't afford a real inverter. They have shorter life expectancies and poorer surge capacities. No thanks.

I replaced my renogy 3000W inverter with this 2000W and it kept throwing faults. Renogy replaced it 2 times and I just returned it.
