4 whole eggs
½ cup melted butter
¾ cup white sugar
2 cups heavy cream
2 cups fresh milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
Zest of 1 lemon
1 cup raisins
Splash of vanilla extract
Vanilla sauce:
6 egg yolks
2 cups fresh milk

Chef rv katapos ko lang po mag bake ng chocolate chips galing sa recipe nyo. Dami po nasarapan. Nag bake na rin po ako ng pandesal galing sa recipe nyo. Nag banana cake na rin po ako galing sa recipe nyo . Pero parang nag kamali ako sa pianono nag crack po kasi at kumapal. Chef newbie lang po ako. Na inspired po ako mag bake kakapanood sa inyo. Wow!!! Now this is the kind of bread pudding that my mom used to make when I was a little girl. The only difference is she used nutmeg instead of cinnamon. You make me smile kiddo and you brought back some very sweet memories. Thank you 🙏❤🙏❤🙏
I tried this tonight because I had so much leftover sliced bread from a party 🤣 I toasted them first to get that crispy texture that you would usually get from a brioche, or in this case, chef's leftover croissants. It came out so beautiful, light and fluffy but decadent! Thanks for this, chef! 💖💖💖

I made this recipe,instead of raisins I used candied lemon peel, instead of rum I used limoncello, and walnuts instead of almonds (which are available in my patry),and I can say it’s really delicious! Thanks for the recipe chef rv

True Po. For me, Bakingnis Therepeutic kasi it makes me happy while my Home smells smells so good too. Tapos uuwi si husband, pag bukas mo ng pinto sasabihin nya, Ma, nasa Lobby oa kang ako ng Building(House namin na mga Tenants/Residents) I can already smell the one that you are baking, noh di ba sa labas pa lang natutuwa na ang husband mo, lalu pa kapag pasik nya sa Bahay, he is welcimed with a Freshly Baked Giodie for his Merienda, Good Shit ka na as a Wife sa Husband Mo kasi na please mo ang Senses nya and fhe same time, nabusog monoa ang Tummy nya 😊❤
CHEF.... I also love spiking the vanilla sauce with some dark spiced rum like my fav. brand Kraken.... Nababawasan yung maumay ka sa tamis... Tama ka with the recipe of pairing it with vanilla sauce . That's's how I learned to eat bread pudding or fruit based crumble pies while living and working in Sweden...
