When we were studying back in 80's , we and our muslim friends never use to fight like this...infact we never thought of caste...we use to get holidays for ramzaan and Ganesha festival both..we and our muslim friends use to enjoy those holidays...now am 40+ and still we r the same...For us our friends are important than their caste...I would like to tell that you ppl r spoiling those students life and u r spreading hatred amongst students in the name of caste and religion...

Pooja is not a Uniform.
Pooja is usually done only occasionally. Maybe two in a year for Shri Ganesha and Shri Saraswati, that too for seeking blessing of the invisible power manifested in the form of images, that has put us in this world. But Hijab? Daily? Violating the written school rules they signed?
Hijab is being used to cover the uniform completely, so the uniformness of Uniform is lost. It's so clear logic.
Personally I feel Uniform should be completely visible to make it Uniformly visible. Accessories not hiding the Uniform should be permissible like Sikh hair tied on top of kids head, bindi or earrings etc
In a "public" school rules that suitable to a wide range of communities, castes. If the Aghoris and Digambara Jains decide to come to school in their "all directions as the dress" and quote their right to follow their traditions, religion blah blah then imagine the complications. If they allow everybody's customs, then first Muslims will build a mosque, 5 times namaaz in Middle of class and everybody else have to accommodate them and by the time school ends it will be 8pm.
Next Muslims will say it's their right to convert or kill non Muslims because it is said in the Quran. Refer the 26 verses listed by Wasim Rizvi Tyagi.
In their madrassa, if Hindu students of even Muslim students come naked or whatever dress they like is it OK? Even madrassa have rules.
