I have been wanting to learn how to hand stitch fabrics for my an this was a helpful video.I ordered a fabric pack from you to practice on.I have alot of dmc threads and how many strands would you use for stitches?
Lol. Yes, I didn’t do a good job…I was really struggling with the close up, seeing it close, and simultaneously through the camera, plus talking was more than I could handle. 😕😫
Darlene here. Thanks so much for the refresher course. I haven't embroidered for years. And I especially liked the helpful idea with the Xs.
Thanks for watching!
Never was good at the French knots you had some lovely pieces
Thank you!

It does add a nice touch, but generally I guess I enjoy working with paper more!
Thanks for sharing this, it really helped!!
Happy Crafting!
I tried many times to make a french knot, but it never worked, I'll try your method and hope it works. You explained it much better. Thanks
Oh good! I hope it works for you!🌺
I remember learning these in high school but after 36 years of not doing it i forgot.😅

I suggest two or three strands.
You made a lovely video but, it would be much more helpful if you could stay in shot so we can see what you are doing.
