Anais is my new favourite singer songwriter and I’m so lucky I found her. Her new album is beautiful and there’s not a wasted note on the whole thing. Beautifully written, sang and played. Anais is is so different- quirky and unique. You won’t hear music this good on FM radio and neither you should. It’s too good for that. She writes lovely songs with hidden messages. Enjoy everything about this music. 🎹🎤🎸🥰👏

First discovered Anaïs on 2020's self-titled Bonny Light Horseman project...a record which ended many of my pandemic listening sessions after a bit of enhancement from my favorite strain of recreational combustible. The Anaïs' own self-titled release exceeded my expectations and became my late night go-to; here she plays some of my absolute favorites and they are performed very close to the album versions (minus the harmonies). I am now still awaiting delivery (to my local indie record store) of Bonny Light Horseman's latest Rolling Golden Holy which officially came out back on October 7th. I love love love this Live for World Cafe performance and have watched it several times over morning coffee. I hope she eventually comes through Montreal with a live show.

Anais - brightest star - I've loved your songs ever since I first laid eyes upon you, all those years ago, stumbling upon that first video. When music seemed drained of sensitivity and passion, yours restored my faith. Love these songs and the new album. Hope the damned virus won't scupper the Brussels concert in November I just bought a ticket to. It'll be the third time seeing you perform, and may there be many more. You're by far the best living singer-songwriter.
