I totally forgot how little guidance and UI info you actually get in this game. :D Haven't played the vanilla game in a long time. So three tips: 1) The mini map at the top left will show the locations of friendlies and neutrals. The only people hidden are enemies unless recently spotted. Also the number in the bottom right corner of the mini map shows how many people are in your proximity. 2) While looting gear you can also grab everything using the "take all" button in the bottom right. 3) You can open the PDA with the P key and inventory with the I key. If you would like to see all the hotkeys you can see the key binds in the option menu as well as rekey them there.
