- In late June of 2007, I, with a friend, went to the Rochelle Railroad Park for the first.
The action was heavy, and the longest time between trains that we waited was 90 minutes during some track work on the UP.
We spent an evening and day in Rochelle, spending 4 hours the first day, 14.5 hours the second day.
This first clip covers all the action of the first day, and the first hour or so the second day.
Some highlights in here include UP 8242, the only SD90/43MAC to recieve the wings, and UP 4528, the third SD70M to get the new Building America scheme
Nice! You saw a lot of cool stuff when you were there. You got ex-SP units! And NS on UP, I have never seen that before. And then the fog on the next day, that was awesome!
I am so lucky to LIVE in rochelle!!!
:)
sweet rochelle is like the best place to watch trains, just late at night be careful cuz people will mug you
Yeah, it is one of the best places to watch trains. But we were out at night, and there was not a single soul around...
I've been trained to look at the positive side of things... at least the shooter didn't park next to a grade crossing like too many bozos who post train videos here. Nice videos, Al.
yes,we do watch train all day...i'm from Croatia, and we do the same.(i'm railfan too, look at my videos)
it would be funny if you saw up on bnsf and bnsf on up!
I'm just saying that we were fine at night. No one came to mug us.
So? Got problem with it? We dont bother you
Ya,but the foamers call it ROACH-HELL
