I think this could be the No.1 fragrance from the house of YSL. This is a distinct and addictive fragrance. I had a 200ml bottle and i was done with in 6 months, could not stop wearing it. After Rive gauche M7 this is second favourite. Thanks nikhil for this review.

This is one iconic fragrance that everyone talks about,as rightly mentioned by Nikhil anyone having badges after 2013 might think it’s overhyped since those have very poor longevity. My experience with the new badge is it last at max 2-3 hours in dry summer days. For our country where weather is hot and humid the smell only stays close to ur skin. The projection is to die for however the drydown feels powdery and synthetic. An iconic scent if you have old badge of the same for the new one is definitely water down and a big let down.

I sampled YSL Nuit from Parcos (mumbai) and soon after visited one of the dmart chain for some groceries this is bck in 2014 /15. I had stationed my trolley into men's grooming range as usual checking near by products on isle after a brief moment, had an middle age mumbai fem pass by and within a distance of about 2meters untill she crossed my aura bubble , her olfactory lobe went buzzing (registering what just happened???) she immediately stopped...got the scent whiff & rapidly turned her back , gv me the cold hard stare!!! I was literally able to mk it from her facial expressions that the scent(LND'H) silage had hit her hard. I was grinning as soon as she made eye contact with me. Yes! that's what this Cologne does to the ladies ( some of them are blowed over its got this x-factor in its DNA) I think after the famous M7 and Kouros this is an Epic but silent pantie dropper for the feminine gender to xpolit!
I hope I made some sense in describing this event with me at the shopping mall in words

I have smelled it several times... In India, outside India...Summers and Winters. But not once did i find anything special about it... I feel its too hyped ya may b general/mass scent, a fragrance which most people like.. Its just my opinion and i dnt wanna force it on others. Har Insaan ka apna nazariya hota hain :) Now aftr watchin dis video.. Im gonna try it again..Lets see .. Hehe :)

Swiss Arabian JF white is basically Too much of vanilla. I dint like this fragrance that much.
Swiss arabian JF Black is amazing smoky, musky, sweet, woody, fragrance, projection is also loud,

Dior Homme Parfum is a stunner. It’s strong and more intense. Dior Homme Intense is slightly creamier. I enjoy both but DHI is more versatile.

Hi Nikhil you say it has notes of cumin seeds, but other reviewers say cardamom, did you miss cardamom? Can you pls check.
I read notes from Fragrantica. Notes are not ingredients dost. Cumin is a perceived note many people feel it has. Cardamom in 2013 bottle is not prominent.

Depends on the batches I guess it has undergone many formulations. Some mention cumin some mention cardamom. I get fine nuances of both.

Check Fragrantica for the list of Notes. Many a time, new (unmentioned) notes are added to the database as per user experiences. Like in Tom Ford Tuscan Leather now they mention note of Night Blooming Jasmine which hardly anyone noticed.
