Budget Indonesia Surf Trip

Every surfer of every level dreams of making the ultimate pilgrimage to the jungles of Indonesia, to surf endless, perfect, uncrowded waves, swim in infinity pools and sip from coconuts. A few years back if you told me that I would go to Indonesia to surf, I would have said "where the heck do you think I'm going to get money to do that? I'm a student, we're known for living cheap!". Fast forward a few years and I have managed to head to remote areas of Indonesia three years in a row, without a job!
This video is a collection of some of my favorite moments from the most recent trip where my buddy and I travelled from South Africa to a certain Mentawai Island, and the toured Southern Sumatra. The trip was about a month in total.
