Indians fan here, and it blows my mind that one of these two teams would win a World Series within the next four years…and it wasn’t the one any of us would think. Damned pitching.

  • @MilePost106

    I miss the Indian name.

  • @seanwalters1977

The jerseys, the jackets, every player is jacked, the sweat stained hats coupled with a huge comeback and brawl... baseball at its best

  • @stillamazed27

This is one of my all-time favorite Indians games. I used to have it on VHS and wore the tape out, re-watching it so many times. I've looked on CZcams occasionally over the years to see if anyone had part of it out there, and you do. So thank you so much, I highly appreciate it!

If Percival threw as well as Justice threw that helmet, then there would not have been a 10 running inning

  • @wickedjr70

Angels manager Terry Collins would get fired two games later after the team getting swept in the series.

Every fan that stuck around became instant friends when Sexson hit the homer to make it 14 to 12.

Still scratching my head on how from 1997-99 we couldn’t win World Series. We were stacked those years

  • @anthonyanderson8261

I love how Rick Manning and his co-commentator struggling to figure out the box score lmao

  • @kevinarthur8488

All I can hear Terry Collins saying is “you gotta give us our shot!” 😂😂😂

Man seeing this really brings back memories from my early childhood. Late 90s Indians baseball, the voice of John Saunders and Manning, still good crowds at the Jake. Those were good times.

  • @TimRobinson-hc7mt

I forgot Harold Baines was an Indian at this time what a half inning this was

  • @lorimeyers3839

Jim Thome was my childhood hero. I was 6 years old the first time I saw him play on television back in 1996. I was lucky enough to see him play until I turned 23. That’s something that you’ll rarely see nowadays.

  • @SephzillaDZX

Brewers fan here - seeing that bomb by Richie gave me a big grin

  • @ralphus555

"The bases are still drunk with Indians..." Different times.

  • @caras2004

This is truly a Finley pitched game. He gives the Angels a big lead, and they blow it.

  • @mattdavis4248

I forgot how many great players Cleveland had back then.

  • @abney20

I was at this game, this game is the loudest I ever heard this stadium.

This was the actual game is where David Justice tossed his helmet at Anaheim Angels closer pitcher Troy Percival. They ended up being ejected. They are wearing their home blue uniform with the white pants. For those wanted to see the whole brawl fight, It's at

Damn , the Cleveland Indians were a complete team. They have the best hitters wow 👌
