Long time player here, but appreciate this non the less to build our community! One small correction - Rings are not unlocked on 4 star ascension, it's unlocked once a champion is ranked up to 4. Amulets and banners are locked behind ascensions. (viewable by yellow star vs purple on the accessories).

Ash, great video as always, it’s still amazing how u can get these videos better each time you do them! Just one thing to point out… I’m and end game player as you, so I get you on that, but those mystery shards on market are essential for new player, to get rates for Rhazin fusion, good rares like Apothecary, food for champs, and points for Champion Chase or even Summon Rush, easy 300-1000 points every tournament/event if u pick them… so those can bring a huge advantage to new players, even mid game ones, or end game in some cases, especially when people are free to play 🙏🏽
Only a few minutes in and honestly the video started from youtube auto play. That being said, I very much enjoy these types of videos. I think maybe they can come out at times other than the new year but I get that. I’ve been playing since 2019 and I love watching these every year from most CCs. Helps keeps me in the know for some of the content I might have missed and let’s me know a new players perspective as it has vastly changed. Thank you and keep up the great work.

Another fantastic guide, Ash! Great summary of everything currently available in RAID:SL and the mechanics! One helpful battle hint I'd like to share that I don't see covered: When auto-battling in any content, you can click on one of the enemies to have your team focus that one first. This is great when your team is up against a team with a champion who resurrects or a tough debuffer/unkillable buffer, so you don't have to manual the battle until that enemy champ is put down. Sending amazing New Year vibes to you and your kiddo!

i love that you mention the pop ups, i made a reveiw on google play that i really love the game but the pop ups are really over the top. they actually replied with "well we just want players to get the best value out of our deals and some are not always permanent" like yeah bruh any time i go back to bastion i need an add to remind me u want money lol

Raid beginners guide step 1: it's not too late. You can still walk away from this game. There are so many other games where the players are not treated like absolute crap by the devs.
I started the year uninstalling Plarium play from my PC's and Raid from my phone. I have a ton of games on Steam and DRM free, as well as a huge xbox collection, that have been neglected while performing raid chores and getting caught up in the BS. Ive spent and seen that it just gets you in a vicious cycle, I'd rather grind Diablo 3, explore D4, and do the shooters and fighting games that only took one purchase

I'm almost a year in, I have some pretty amazing Champs (Cardiel was my first pull), but resources and timing get me sometimes. I'm stuck on whether to 6 star another champ or 5 star a few Champs for FW or focus on tournaments, or etc. BTW, I used your initial starter video to get to where I'm at now. Thanks!
I just started RAID, but got really lucky and my cousin gave me an account he used often as an alt, it has all free preomational heroes and stuff, I had ninja and randa on mine but he said I gotchu, lol Its so awesome to see ASH of all people playing this, I used to watch this dude a decade ago when CR (Clash Royale) was so huge.

Raid has so much depth to its game and can be a bit overwhelming to a brand new player of this genera. I believe this will certainly answer some questions a new player may ask and come back to when they have a second or 3rd question ;)
Awesome video How about some tips from getting out of the early game. I've got 10 6* champs and 15 ish 5* champs, but stuck on around lvls 13-16 on the four main dungeons and got a bit stuck on unlocking higher stages
As someone about 9 months in I don't know if I needed to watch this, but I did learn a few things while I worked on revamping my CB team to an unkillable finally (progressive chance maneater TYSM GAME).
Favorite part of raid is that there are so many different champions. Getting a new legendary and adding them to your teams or just trying them out in the arena is always good vibes
I get Visix this month. (of course I pulled her already, but whatever) I have all hard modes dungeons completed to level 10 except fire knight (on stage 6). The point is I have passed the "beginner" phase, but man I still love these videos! The long videos I can listen to in the background are always my favorites! Thank you!
@@Neuvillete4.6 Both really. Mid spender. I get the monthly gem pack and keep the raid card active, but I only ever buy packs when the deal comes up as "Legendary Offer" on the pack calculator. I never buy from the "illegal shop". I've never spent more than $100 in a month. I've been sober since 9/2022 and I put my drinking money to other uses nowadays. The very first leggo I ever pulled was Duchess too. She was a huuuuge carry for sure. So for whatever reason, I've definitely had really good luck.
@@Sam-uu2nx A bit of both really. I replied my spending habits on Jahlee's comment. I also get way into the math and strategy. I'm a firm believer that tier lists (while highly entertaining) don't matter in reality. Just cause a champ is low on everyone's list, doesn't mean they won't be a rockstar for my account. Tramaria for example. A ton of hate on her, but at the time the speed lead, aoe decrease speed, aoe stun, and full team cleanse was something I didn't otherwise have access too until I pulled her. If that makes sense.
This helps with some good principles. As a new player, I would have preferred to see the experiences from a new player point of view with a new roster, and how to work from player level 1 to 10, then 11 to 20, 30 to 40 etc.. I want to see how the game progresses and what to be aware of.

Though I am hitting a wall at the moment of 12-7 on Hard difficulty, and while I have been quickly learning about feeding champions and leveling up my starter, it's not enough. My main question is this; should I grind champions like Warmaiden, Spirithost, etc in the campaign so I can infuse them into each other to upgrade their skills without using tomes? I've been trying to do that with Saurus so I can campaign farm but I'm unclear if it's better to invest in more artifacts for champions first or to improve their skills first. I know to look for both but I'm still wondering on what to prioritize.

Ty for nice guilde only 1 small error that I noticed in the game saying all nukers need 100 percent crit on the stats, and here you mentioned kayle. He is one of the few you only wanna have to 85 percent crit rate, due to him having 15 percent crit on hits aoe ability which basically is the only one you need crit percentage for.
I've only been playing for a few months now, and I totally agree, starting out is sooo overwhelming, but now I'm at the point where I'm trying to decide which epic champions to upgrade (because I only have 5 legendary, 3 of which were free), and this is the only channel ive watched with good, relevant, helpful information. And it's not boring or one of those idiots just reading stats. So thank u! If u get a chance, who would u recomend ranking up out of these: Ractor Drath, Alure, Sachi. I have Minaya ans Scyl, so should I bother with Drath?

Hey so In an another game I have to do a task I have to complete 3 Battles in this game so how do I do that do I have to play the campaign or something or what I have to do??
For me the most important advices I can give to new starters : - Pick Kael, he is better than others and more useable in the long term because of his poison debuf. The others are not bad, but kael is the most usefull. - Look for any promo codes that will give you new champions and or money. Take a list and look how much time they are valid. Some only works in the few days of the creation of the account... - Rush the campaign and grow your character in order to get potions and advance for the quests as all potion keeps are open for 5 days... After you will need to wait or pay to advance quests... - don't buy any shard pack with the gem. Use the gem to upgrade the masteries of your start champions. it's 800 for one full set and will make your champ work much better. You may wait a bit before using the gems as you will get at least one legendary champ very fast. - don't buy new space in the market unless you see a blue shard. There are nothing worth buying there except shards and some usefull green champ duplicates - don't use books of higher level for low level champ. Higher book are difficult to get, don't spoil them. - climb in the arena, it's the only way to build your great hall and give you bonuses that apply everywhere and become very usefull to climb the difficulties as accuracy becomes very important when you meet bosses. - be lucky as some champ give direct advantages in comparison to others... The champ that can solo are a plus as you can level food with them and you only need to stuff them in order to get items and money... For the rest man, when you open your tavern and we see how much chicken potions, books... you are very mean to show us so much as we are starving for those ressources... :p
i am new to the game, about a month in. and i have been watching your videos daily. at this point in the game as a ftp player i am at a plateau. currently running galek (6 star full mastery) vergis (6 star working on masteries) giscard (5 star working on masteries and leveling) sun wukon (6 star working on masteries) and meatcarver tolog as main healer (5 star, working on masteries). any suggestions as to who to keep an eye out for and replace current champ in main team. at this stage i started working on masteries because i stopped progressing in dungs. ps. about 2 cycles of the mission lists to hit arbiter. any and all suggestion/tips appreciated.
I played a while in 2020, was midgame I guess and stopped playing, cause it consumed too much time. Now I was curious and looged in again. After clicking through thousands of popups and watching this guide I know again why I quit. :D Damn that game is complex...

19:46 please buy your green shards and there will be 5 ancient "blue" shards in the market in the duration of a month. ancients are 200K silver and mystery is 5000 also early game u might need to buy 2 stars from market but when you start farming 12-3 brutal thats not necessary cause you'll get 3 star food from there as well.

Hey ash can you do a late game guide? For the people hitting UNM and NM but also are only able to do like hard/brutal hydra. I feel like I have to farm everywhere to get to the endgame but I don’t have that much time. Edit: been a fan since CR and your first collab with chosen. Just left the game for a little while and I’m just getting back to it. It’s kinda overwhelming.
Get familiar with challenges and missions. And plan them well before you go nuts, that will save you alot of hard times!❤ thrust me, find the list over them and screen shot them and , the resources you get is really powerfull. But if you dont plan them you can get stuck werry often for a long time! And that will slow down your progression badly! I em talking about weeks and months type, not days and hours!
Slowly I am becoming a beginner game master. I do referrals for my clan mates for a gempack. 45 days and im at 50. Always do dailies, missions and challenges. These will keep you in energy, silver, gems and double xp.
4 years in, so I may not count as a beginner anymore, but I still found this useful. Do you know if there is any way in the game to see how many shards you have pulled since your last legendary? I swear I must be near the end of the mercy system for Voids. I still only have lonely little Visix.
I made an account and pulled Harima/Islin/Ronda/Venomage/Frozen Banshee and i bought masteries with the free gems for ronda and banshee and not on my starter and now elhain strugles to farm 12-3 brutal and i have to do in with elhain and islin who do 60 ronda or elhain can elhain do it without masteries?

I've been trying to do that with Saurus so I can campaign farm but I'm unclear if it's better to invest in more artifacts for champions first or to improve their skills first. I know to look for both but I'm still wondering on what to prioritize.
Great video! I play this game a lot and just started like a week ago. But I just found out that you can actually play on your pc too. So my question is if I download this game onto my pc do I start by making a fresh account on it or just link it to the account that’s on my phone?

Ty for nice guilde only 1 small error that I noticed in the game saying all nukers need 100 percent crit on the stats, and here you mentioned kayle.
He is one of the few you only wanna have to 85 percent crit rate, due to him having 15 percent crit on hits aoe ability which basically is the only one you need crit percentage for.
I've only been playing for a few months now, and I totally agree, starting out is sooo overwhelming, but now I'm at the point where I'm trying to decide which epic champions to upgrade (because I only have 5 legendary, 3 of which were free), and this is the only channel ive watched with good, relevant, helpful information. And it's not boring or one of those idiots just reading stats. So thank u!
If u get a chance, who would u recomend ranking up out of these: Ractor Drath, Alure, Sachi. I have Minaya ans Scyl, so should I bother with Drath?

Hey so In an another game I have to do a task I have to complete 3 Battles in this game so how do I do that do I have to play the campaign or something or what I have to do??
For me the most important advices I can give to new starters :
- Pick Kael, he is better than others and more useable in the long term because of his poison debuf. The others are not bad, but kael is the most usefull.
- Look for any promo codes that will give you new champions and or money. Take a list and look how much time they are valid. Some only works in the few days of the creation of the account...
- Rush the campaign and grow your character in order to get potions and advance for the quests as all potion keeps are open for 5 days... After you will need to wait or pay to advance quests...
- don't buy any shard pack with the gem. Use the gem to upgrade the masteries of your start champions. it's 800 for one full set and will make your champ work much better. You may wait a bit before using the gems as you will get at least one legendary champ very fast.
- don't buy new space in the market unless you see a blue shard. There are nothing worth buying there except shards and some usefull green champ duplicates
- don't use books of higher level for low level champ. Higher book are difficult to get, don't spoil them.
- climb in the arena, it's the only way to build your great hall and give you bonuses that apply everywhere and become very usefull to climb the difficulties as accuracy becomes very important when you meet bosses.
- be lucky as some champ give direct advantages in comparison to others... The champ that can solo are a plus as you can level food with them and you only need to stuff them in order to get items and money...
For the rest man, when you open your tavern and we see how much chicken potions, books... you are very mean to show us so much as we are starving for those ressources... :p
i am new to the game, about a month in. and i have been watching your videos daily. at this point in the game as a ftp player i am at a plateau. currently running galek (6 star full mastery) vergis (6 star working on masteries) giscard (5 star working on masteries and leveling) sun wukon (6 star working on masteries) and meatcarver tolog as main healer (5 star, working on masteries). any suggestions as to who to keep an eye out for and replace current champ in main team. at this stage i started working on masteries because i stopped progressing in dungs. ps. about 2 cycles of the mission lists to hit arbiter. any and all suggestion/tips appreciated.
hey what about bomb champs i pulled gnishak during guarantee and got it in first 2 shards so would i put crit dmg on gloves
I played a while in 2020, was midgame I guess and stopped playing, cause it consumed too much time. Now I was curious and looged in again. After clicking through thousands of popups and watching this guide I know again why I quit. :D Damn that game is complex...

Thank you Ash, I've played this game for 3 years and still don' t know what to focus. I don't want to spend more than 15-30 mins in this game per day. I've been absolutely destroyed in arena and have never been able to figure out what to do besides Clan Boss.

19:46 please buy your green shards and there will be 5 ancient "blue" shards in the market in the duration of a month. ancients are 200K silver and mystery is 5000 also early game u might need to buy 2 stars from market but when you start farming 12-3 brutal thats not necessary cause you'll get 3 star food from there as well.
not to forget the 5 acients appears just in the first week or the first 2 weeks in every new month

Hey ash can you do a late game guide? For the people hitting UNM and NM but also are only able to do like hard/brutal hydra. I feel like I have to farm everywhere to get to the endgame but I don’t have that much time.
Edit: been a fan since CR and your first collab with chosen. Just left the game for a little while and I’m just getting back to it. It’s kinda overwhelming.

Get familiar with challenges and missions. And plan them well before you go nuts, that will save you alot of hard times!❤ thrust me, find the list over them and screen shot them and , the resources you get is really powerfull. But if you dont plan them you can get stuck werry often for a long time! And that will slow down your progression badly! I em talking about weeks and months type, not days and hours!

Slowly I am becoming a beginner game master. I do referrals for my clan mates for a gempack. 45 days and im at 50. Always do dailies, missions and challenges. These will keep you in energy, silver, gems and double xp.

4 years in, so I may not count as a beginner anymore, but I still found this useful. Do you know if there is any way in the game to see how many shards you have pulled since your last legendary? I swear I must be near the end of the mercy system for Voids. I still only have lonely little Visix.

I made an account and pulled Harima/Islin/Ronda/Venomage/Frozen Banshee and i bought masteries with the free gems for ronda and banshee and not on my starter and now elhain strugles to farm 12-3 brutal and i have to do in with elhain and islin who do 60 ronda or elhain can elhain do it without masteries?
there should be a QOL update that allows you to prevent using higher level books on lower lvl champs..
