Btw, for some context, Ryuu isn't a proper healer. She can mend wounds but she can't replace what was lost or fix body parts back to what it originally was. She healed her broken leg but the bone fragments are misaligned. The same thing with Bell's arm, she healed it but it's a real mess underneath.
I'm usually open minded with the characters' ages in animes like this. I mean technically the guild can allow kids to venture into the dungeon, killing monsters and watch gruesome deaths. Some amazoness are literally placed in a deathmatch the moment they're able to walk lmao. And for some reason, we're worried about a teenager who's faced death multiple times having romance.
Ikr. Also, Ryuu is basically a young maiden that has no experience at all with love. Although 21yo she behaves like a 15yo falling in love for the 1st time. Plus, she's not even human, but an elf.
@@fabiospar Yeah exactly. You can't compare Ryuu's age to a human's life expectancy because she's not a human, she's an elf. Elves live for hundreds of years. Ryuu is only 21, so if you compare her age relative to the life expectancy of elves, then she's even younger than Bell is.

I don't think Ryu is gonna die, but not because the main cast has no consequences, but because it would be the opposite of Bell's "justice", and would just make a way too tragic ending for it to ever happen
They have plot armor thanks to Bell hero's journey... if you go read the spin off of Aiz you see some fucked up shit. The minotaur âAsteriusâ could literally murder stomp Juggernaut. Heâs equivalent to a level 7 after all. That Juggernaut is at best high level 5. Asterius is stronger, faster, more durable and better fighter. Juggernaut is just more agile.
Back then in season 3, Asterius sustained a lot of damage cause he was facing the Level 6's from Loki Familia. Since the Juggernaut is only a single monster plus should be High Level 5 at best cause it spawned in the Lower Floors. Asterius can easily defeat it as a Level 7 Xenos. So I think if it spawns in the Lower Floors it's around Level 5 and if it spawns on the Deep floors It is around Level 6 ( from floor 37) and much higher the deeper in the deep floors
666 There are 2 Juggernauts because the previous one escapes. And it was not heard that any other family would kill him! So in the worst case scenario, both of them show up! And I don't think they'll be coming back to the surface this season, maybe the groups meet up and the characters heal from their injuries in the safe area of ââthe dungeon. There's just no better bait for the next season than having to get back to the surface as soon as possible because they learn that the city is under attack by mad gods and their families due to an unknown poison. Well, this is my idea for the next season!
The first juggernaut turned into ash. It was the big pile of blue-gray ash Ryu found when she went back down to retrieve her familia members' bodies and weapons. Juggernauts have a short life-span. In the light novel, they have scenes from this juggernaut's perspective and it knows it is running out of time before it expires. This arc ends with volume 14 and we only have a few pages left to cover.
Although we all know who Bell is supposed to end up with before likely dying at the series end, but if I was the author I'd come back to this cave scene, and expand on it. Explain how Ryu and Bell made a pact never to discuss what happened in there, as the series ends we find out Ryu is very much pregnant with Bell's child.
I'd rather Bell live through it all. Omori also originally wrote the Prometheus/Primordial Flame story that showed up in the Danmachi mobile game as a story that was supposed to take place after the end of the main series, he just rewrote it to be a mostly noncanon (the characters and places in that story DO exist, but not the events) story taking place before the end as a sequel to the noncanon movie. The fact that it was originally intended to be a story AFTER the ending kind of shows Omori plans for Bell to live.
Doubtful, since they are very close to the end of Volume 14, which is the end of this arc. They are only a few pages behind where I'd though they'd be.
@Luca DeezNutz as far as I know we have one left. And they can wrap it up, although they may have to short part of the epilogue unless they change a couple of things up.
Bit of a tangent, but this episode really cemented my dislike for Ais as a character, and really proved why she's just a blight on this show. She adds nothing, has no personality, is barely in the show, and has had no serious meaningful moments together with Bell. What makes for a good romance is the viewer feeling the need for the characters to be together, and with Ais that feeling is zero. But it's actually worse than that because not just is there zero investment in Bells relationship with Ais, who basically just exists as some sterile goal to be marched towards, but the fact that Bell being in love with Ais is established as a core premise we don't even get the joy of feeling proper excitement when we have moments such as this with Ryu since I KNOW nothing will come of it anyway. Which is kinda a problem when your show is literally called "is it wrong to pick up girls in a dungeon". We are now in a position where literally every single girl in the show is better than Ais. It started with Hestia, who is actually shown caring and yearning for Bell. Now there is Ryu, who had what could have been an absolutely gorgeous romantic story with Bell. But it's not just them. Haruhime and the emotions involved with her rescue were better. Lily and her devotion to Bell is better. Hell, Aisha, who is at the very least a part of the story and is always shown to be an absolute dependable badass, is better than Ais. Seriously, why is Ais even a part of this story? Can we PLEASE kill her off?
Ais has her own series y'know. She's not always around; she's busy right now during this part of the story, in Knossos. Also, read the novels or manga. She has personality, the anime decided for her to go full Kuudere not the author. While I do mostly agree with you about allowing Bell some romantic freedom so there's some stakes as to who he ends up with, I don't agree with killing Aiz off. The Light Novel and manga of her series Sword Oratoria is really good, ESPECIALLY around the season 4 content. Sadly the first season was not adapted correctly and caused it to stagnat as an anime, but the content in the manga and novel is wild. There have also been romantic interactions with her and Bell in it that have not been shown in the anime. Bell and her aren't gonna be constantly meeting up since she's busy with her Familia, and that honestly feels realistic. Especially since only 6 months have passed in the story since the start. That being said, the anime cuts out a lot of content anyway, including Aiz scenes.
This is what will happen if the nuances and Ais' moments were put down the drain. Because in the anime, the animation studio does not care about a character if youre not in the main cast or focus of the story, or if your name isnt Hestia Long story short Ais is being done dirty in the anime
@@SpacePirateLord Yeah, I know there is another anime, I've tried watching it, got bored about 5 minutes in. But here is the thing, the fact that she's in an other anime....is a good indication that she should be in a different anime, and not this one. I don't much care whose fault it is, or where Ais is at, or what she's doing. I care that this anime right here is being dragged down by her existence. Which it is. Although to be fair, the same thing almost always true for any anime where the MC is obsessed with any random girl for some reason. Unless the story is about how the guy should stop being obsessed these stories always suck.
@DutchDread Eh, agree to disagree, but... I feel the five minutes in thing cannot be right. Five minutes in Loki Familia is fighting monsters on the 56th Floor that literally have Xenomorph style acid blood, and there are crazy scenes like Tione face-tanking said acid to rip out the creature's magic stone with her bare hands. Then they come across the Minotaur horde on the way back up, which leads to Bell's first Minotaur encounter. Now, if you said Lefiya is annoying, I CAN believe that. The real fact of the matter is J.C. Staff is the one messing up, as they made anime-only scenes for Lefiya and then shoved her to the forefront while relegating Aiz to background. They also removed all Aiz's emotions, which are a big deal in the novels. If you read the novels or manga you'll see they butchered her character in the anime. She is supposed to be a traumatized girl who has only recently started to open up to people (being called Doll Princess before her current title), fractured between lost innocence and an all-consuming desire for revenge. This was supposed to be shown in the anime, but all those scenes were cut. At times she acts innocent and childlike since she never properly grew up, forced to wield the sword since she was young, and at times cold and intense, literally desiring vengeance so much she might even tear her own body apart to get it. Like I said, I can agree with you that Bell should be more open to other women being his love interest, but I cannot agree that Aiz is unnecessary or a blight on the overall series. The series is not the anime; the anime is just an adaptation after all, not the source. What you're doing is (as an example) like complaining about the Witcher series as a whole simply because the television series is doing a bad job adapting the novels.
@@DutchDread You don't even read the Sword Oratoria novel where Aiz's romantic development with Bell being shown there. In actuality, you only last 5 episodes of poor adaptation then you say that Aiz should be kill off?? Thats not a fair comparison. Beside, we haven't gotten on Aiz's romance arc in the story yet. This coming from a Ryuu fan since day one.

Asterius is not a bad guy; he's just Bell's rival. He's an honorable warrior (something made very clear in the novels) who wants to fight Bell again when they're both at their best, IF he stumbled across Bell in this situation he'd help honestly. Otherwise how would he be able to fight Bell again if Bell died to some other monstrosity?
@@SpacePirateLord thats not the point, he wants to fight bell to death, in that way he is the bad guy, it would be weird if he saves him even if he has motive to do it, it would make story weird
@Cynx 13 I happen to know when the next time Asterius shows up in the story but I don't want to spoil anything for anime-only viewers. I'm just saying you mischaracterized him by calling him a bad guy.
â@@SpacePirateLord IKR , Asterius only wants to have a worthy fight with Bell. That's the reason he was reborn as a Xenos. There's no way he would kill Bell when Bell isn't strong enough to face Asterius at full strength. That would go against the very purpose of being reborn

You can only found this kind of thing in Fanfiction
No way they rapidly this up next ep. I definitely predict a season 4 part 3 and at the end of that they get out of the dungeon
Doubtful, since they are very close to the end of Volume 14, which is the end of this arc. They are only a few pages behind where I'd though they'd be.
I think this part 2 is going to be 13 episodes long, because I think we need 2 episodes to PROPERLY wrap this arc up
@Luca DeezNutz as far as I know we have one left.
Because in the anime, the animation studio does not care about a character if youre not in the main cast or focus of the story, or if your name isnt Hestia
Long story short Ais is being done dirty in the anime
No character deaths.. go watch akame ga kill. bro.
Naw, everyone died in Akame Ga Kill, that shit was mid. Iâm saying a character death adds stakes. I know that in any tough situation the Hestia family will be fine.
@@FreshestAnime trust me bro, I understand, it's why I hate one piece and fairy tail.
Now if only this show could get the amount of One piece episodes!
again, minitour is bad guy, there is no reason for him to help Bell
@@SpacePirateLord for one how would kill kids if bell didnt protect? He doesnt seam to care for anything exept fight its a bad guy in my book
Ryuu is the best girl in show, she can not dieThey were so cuteIt would be hype if we would have Asterious next ep
