I’ve demoed the vertex and I own a normal grandstand. I’ll take the grandstand any day over the vertex I and my crew like the platform behind the wheels. Also the safety in the handles is so nice if it’s in the platform we disable it due to hitting bumps and the mower turning off. We have a 2 person crew/company and I wish I could of afforded the multiforce when we bought our grandstand.
I agree with your plans in regards with more mowers with the right attachments. As work level grows, as manpower grows and demands and requirements/ requests grow with the needs of the business! Congratulations on your business success and growth!!
While I don’t have the multi force, I do have a vantage and older grandstand and they’re great machines, it really revolutionized my business I went from sit downs to standers for this season and can’t see myself going back.
How on earth does that have 127 hours and you’ve had it for 3 years? I have a 36 inch bad boy stand on I bought in January 2023(5 months ago) and I have 71 hours already. How many hours can there commercial mowers “live” for?
We had wright standers since they came out . Switched to toro grandstands 2 years ago. Wrights stand on platform was uncomfortable and you would have to go slow over bumps . With toro your feet are always flat
Id say everyone is different. A must have for anyone who does a decent amount of mulch and leaf removals. I was a exmark guy till i saw the mulch force come out. Ill be buying muliti forces for now on. We mow 2 days and landscape 2 days a week. Im 2 crews 3 guys. Got a multi force 3 yrs ago with mulch force and leaf blower. 1000hrs in and absolutely best decision ever. Agree Probably not for a solo guy. Cant use as mower when leaf blower is on but replaces 1 employee easily when mulching or doing leaves. Probably 2 guys. I agree the attachments aren't the easiest but they can be done solo and once you do it a couple times it becomes easy.
Starting my business 3 years ago with a 21” push mower that was sitting at the house i was renting, 3 years later with over 100 repeating clients the grand stand is my goal
For the most part of summer i do use the km131r for trimming, edging, and blowing. I carry the blower to the yard with me and just switch attachments on the spot. Faster them going all the way to the trailer and puting the teimmer away and then unmounting the blower.
I am solo and going to hire next season. I have the 36 because it fits through most of our gates. Was looking at a 52 for the larger properties and might consider a sit down with a bagger
Thank you for keeping it real, I appreciate your honesty! Love the video very informative and will help many many guys and gals out here!!! Keep up the good work.
I recently demoed a new 2023 Grandstand 60" multi-force and it didn't like damp and tall TTTF grass (cut was around 10:30am, sunny weather). The Kohler 747cc EFI struggled to get through the tall and thick fescue. On the other hand, I demoed a Wright ZK w/the Vanguard motor on the same property with the same cut condition, and it blasted right through it with no issues. Toro needs to put the larger motors on the multi-force, especially with a snow plow, aerator, and other attachments that will benefit with the additional HP.
Great review, and thank you for your honesty. If the Multiforce ia a boat...then that new Grandstand HDX they unveiled at Expo last year is a friggin battleship! Your assessment makes sense to me...buy the Multiforce for its attachment capability to allow you to expand services you offer...but not really use it as a primary mower.
Should do a video with all the equipment you have, we normally see the lazer z and vertex but would be cool to see what else you have, what the other crew or crews run
No the grandstands are pretty quick compact and easy to move the multi force not so much cause you start adding all the stuff the extra hydro and stuff like that so yea the multi force is a boat for sure but regular grandstand not
Horrible for saint Augustine and bermuda cause of the weight on the wheels it starts to kill the grass after a few cuts. But with enough water and seed its fine.
Hope you guys appreciate the transparency. Gotta shoot it straight!
Very helpful information, thanks 😎👍🇺🇸🍺

So I should tell my wife “Brian told me to buy one”?
The multi-force cuts st. Augustine grass very well, Ive used it mulching and it is still able to handle it, would love a 29hp+ engine option though
I think the Multi-force has a bright future ahead. It’s like the Ventrac of the of the zero turn world.💪🏼

Thanks for your honest opinion. I don't work in that field but looking for a good zero turn mower to do volunteer work within my community.
Spencer just has his dealer swap attachments out. Seems to work well

toro multi force has been great for us. I personally don't like the bagging system I feel like it clogs touch but overall great

I can relate. Larger engines on dedicated platforms are where you’ll find them.
It's good for any size business

Just run a 72” and be done 😂 but I do want this unit as a solo operator to help me be more efficient at mulching. Thanks for the review!
Why buy 72 when you can get jobs done in almost same time with 61? Or even 52? I see yourpoint but can save a lot of money
Thanks for your honest opinion Brian!

Only 127 hours in 3 years? 👀
If it comes with a Kawasaki engine option I would definitely consider adding one of these to my fleet.
thanks for the multiforce review, I have been waiting for you to to a review. thanks!
Gods if only I could get one. Love those things and standers all the way lol
Amazing review Brian keep it up congrats on the growth and new clients. Very nice commercial property.
Thanks man
Have one of each a stand on and a rider less trailer space
Hi Brian, how do you deal with Residential Clients who demand to bag grass but dont want to pay extra. Do you bag?
Great honest review thanks
Love brian lawn video after work lets gooo
Is your Vertex and multiforce the same size deck,? Might be why they think its faster? Ours is a 52 and its very fast i think.

Great video!!! What would be your recommendation for the ideal started mower (stand behind)?
Whatever one your local dealer sells and supports! They’re all making great product these days.
Horrible for saint Augustine and bermuda cause of the weight on the wheels it starts to kill the grass after a few cuts. But with enough water and seed its fine.
You still have the tire starz mower
I have to say that the bagger clogs a lot, the mower bogs heavily in wet and tall grass.
good info !!!
Love it
150 hours.... in 3 years?
I was wondering same thing. I’m assuming it’s not a full time mower on the fleet.
I disagree, for a stand on its got the best bagger ive seen
