Some of these remedies can take the edge off, which is great. But nothing really controls morning sickness. How the hell is it that no one talks about how fucking DEBILITATING morning sickness really is??? I'm not even talking about hyperemesis gravidarum. Like, just regular morning sickness has turned me into a disabled person. Why the hell isn't this more talked about? It's just presented as some occasional puking, not a debilitating condition that limits your ability to live life for up to three months. First-time mama here coming to terms with just how inadequate cultural knowledge and sex education really is. :(

Having my first ginger ale even though it’s not diet. It’s helping a tiny bit. Hello I'm 19 years old and pregnant I'm turning 20 in 5 days the age doesn't matter rather you are older or younger just know that if you're trying for a baby you will have a very difficult time with your pregnancy during 3 months because everytime you throw up your body gets weak to the point where you can't do anything and just want to be in bed resting also if you want to enjoy a delicious meal like everyone else say goodbye to that during the 3 month period because eating anything is impossible it is so hard to keep food in your system without throwing it up I am telling you right now that you want a child that beautiful blessing we bring into this world you need to be mentally prepared and strong for it because no one likes to throw up and nobody likes to feel sick and weak in bed so honey mentally prepare yourself I regret not doing any research and just jumping into pregnancy without knowing what I was getting myself into but now I know and that's what experiences are for

She started wanting to eat everything, and all of a sudden things started smelling off for her. If there’s any advice for getting over that aversion to many foods so she can fill up on nutrition. I hear buttered toast and jam is good, but I need more ideas for doing food prep.

I will be 9 weeks tomorrow and I have been going through both severe nausea and the most horrible sour taste that is present 24/7. I am in bed most of the time, I can't taste the food well, nothing agrees with me. I really tried most of the natural remedies over the counter, including the pregnancy drops from amazon, peppermint tablets, club soda, gingerale, lemon, etc. Something that helped me take the edge off was using a tongue scraper a few times a day, especially in the morning. I also bought Yasso Poppable Yogurt -Mint flavor. I got these by mistake but apparently the cold mint yogurt is really taking the edge off. I have pretzels with me everywhere I go and it seems that they are really helping. However, these just take the edge off for a little bit. If anyone finds the miracle remedy, please share.
Also, if anyone has issues drinking water (like myself) because of the horrible sour taste, try the Vitamin Water Triple XX...it's easier to drink if it's cold.

My first child I gained only 18 pounds. I was sick until I pushed that boy out, and my nausea lingered for a few days after I had him. The only thing that kinda helped was boiling ginger root then drinking the water. I’m on baby 3 now and I feel awful!

I felt I handled my daughters well. This one I just feel like I'm becoming a bit more whiny lol. It's okay. My sweet baby is worth every pain and suffering I go through. 👏👏👏 wish me luck in trying some of this stuff 😭😭
