That kids got the coolest uncle he could ever wish for!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you!!!
Pimp my Ride - Tatooine Edition! Put some Alpines on the back of that thing!
LOL!!! That’s awesome!!
This was truly amazing build… I absolutely love how your always doing something for your nephew… in the words of a great Jedi.. “Awesome uncle you are”
Thank you!
Me and my uncle are huge Star Wars fans and showed me my first star Wars when I was 2 and now he lives in Hawaii and I haven’t seen him in years.
That’s both awesome and sad. Wish the two of you lived closer to spend time together, but what an awesome uncle to have shared it with you.
All man. He will never forget what his uncle did for him for his landspeeder. A uncle's love for his nephew. Thank you for the awesome video to you and your family have a safe and merry Christmas!!😄😁👍🏿
Thank you so much! Merry Christmas!
In English, the correct way to say it is " *AN* uncle's love..."
The award for Uncle of the Decade goes to?
YOU, my man!
This is epic!
Thank you very much!
Love what you did with the thruster. You are right- the plumbing aisle is a playground. Thanks for including the video of the speeder in use. Really cool
Thank you! the thruster was our favorite part!
You're Nephew is one lucky Jedi.
I just picked one of these up today for my 1 year old. New in an unopened box! You have given me some great ideas as always! Thank you for the great content!
You are seriously the coolest uncle ever
Thank you!!!!

"Hydrofuel compression air intake system" 😄😄😄😄😄
Awesome!
That is absolutely awesome. You have one lucky nephew.
Thank you!!!
Beautiful! I’m sure that’s one happy kid!
Thank you my friend, he was indeed!
If you had some brushless motors and some batteries, you could’ve made it a bit more powerful, but the exterior is just awesome
Thank you much. Since my nephew is only 5 we kept it stock. Didn’t want him to get hurt.
I've been rewatching all your videos. You are truly amazing and I hope you have more projects in the new decade
We really appreciate you watching everything, WOW! We will absolutely have more projects, I don't know how to stop building ;)
This is one of the best edited videos yet. The finished craft was immersive in a way that captured how unique you made the base product. Nicely done, that is the type of gift that a star wars fan can keep throughout their whole life.
Mike Horb thank you so very much, we really appreciate the wonderful feedback.
Fantastic customization.
Thank you!
You are the most epic uncle in the galaxy.
HA!! Thank you, i'm trying to be!
Put speakers in the engines with the sound of the speeder blaring out so it sounds like a speeder.... cool work
Great build.
Thank you!!!!
Great job, I bet your nephew loved it. Have a great new year and look forward to watching more of your video’s in the new year.
Mark Uren thank you! He really loved it. Can’t wait to show you all new crazy projects in 2020!
Your nephew is one lucky young man!
That's what we keep telling him ;)
Wonderful work as per usual.
Thank you!!!
Another awesome project, glad you’re back!
Really appreciate it, we are thrilled to be back at it!
Outstanding Work! Kind Regards Johnny
You are the coolest uncle ever!
I try! Merry Christmas
This is one lucky kid! How amazing is that experience going to be for him? And through the years, no doubt he'll find more and more things to appreciate about the speeder, and you!
Awesome work... it looks way cooler with all the added gizmos and lights. Great job as always.
Thank you! Yeah, those little added bits certainly add to it.
This is just amazing
Thank you!
Merry Christmas bro!!!!!!!! Glad to see you're feeling better.
Thank you so much, merry Christmas to you too!
You do great work , every project you do, You catch the very essence of STAR WARS. You just get it.
Thank you so very much, that really means a lot to us!
Another excellent video! Your nephew is a lucky boy. Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas!
Wes Robinson thank you, Merry Christmas to you as well!
Patiently waiting for episode 6 of the Star Wars room!!
We hear ya! We will be releasing Episode 6 on Jan 13, and then at a minimum we'll have a new room build episode each month to reach our goal of completing the room in 2020!
This is soooo cool! Merry Christmas!
Thank you! Merry Christmas!
Just picked up one of these FREE on FB marketplace!! Can’t wait to get started w the mods. Thanks as always for the inspiration!
Right on! Good luck with your project!
I'm definitely taking some ideas from this video for the speeder I just got.
Amazing!
Thank you!
Awesome Xmas present build man! Hit it out of the park! Keep up the great work and Merry Christmas to you and your family
Thank you very much, merry Christmas
Merry Christmas everyone! And great build as always.
Thank you! Merry Christmas!
it looks asmazing, and also like it will travel back to the prequells if it hits 88mph
Wow, looks amazing. Heat exhaust burn marks on the back of the chrome parts of the engines may give it another layer of depth.
Nick Cavanaugh thank you! That’s a great idea.
such a sweet build and what a lucky kid. he's gonna have to keep an eye out for Jawas with a ride like that. so glad you're back and thanks for all the inspiration. hoping to get my hands dirty on a few projects of my own in the new year.
Thank you so much! Yes, you do need to get your hands dirty this coming year, get out there and build it!
Awesome job Merry Christmas
Thank you, Merry Christmas.
I LOVE the Space Balls the bumper sticker!!! You are a creative genius!!!!
LOL, thanks Tracy. My wife came up with that one, and I nearly died laughing!
Amazing work !
Makes me want to create a speeder and ride it to the junk yard searching for more griblies !
Thank you so much for your work and ... Merry Christmas to all !
Matthieu thank you! I may just have to build a full size one someday🤓. Merry Christmas
Great build Brian! We picked up one of those with plans for an overhaul, but we ended up just handing it over to our nephews. Who knows, maybe we'll get a chance to upgrade it with the little guys in a couple years! =)
Thank you so much, you guys rock! We would LOVE to see what you guys would do with this project, and having your nephews help with the upgrade would be amazing! Thanks for stopping by!
I want to use an old go kart and turn it into a landspeeder. I think it could be fantastic!
Every single Smugglers Room video I've seen Punished Props has commented on.
You have inspired me to design my new art room into a full customises room to work in and display all of my Star Wars collection thanks 🙏
Oh YES! That is so awesome to hear! Please post pictures and tag us so we can follow along!
Love this
Thank you!
Other than running the windshield this is awesome man 👍
Yeah sorry about that, with more time there would have been other ways to work with it for sure. Thanks for watching!
I absolutely love your videos.
Thank you so much for watching!!!
Short of an anti gravity generator and a real jet engine I think I would have added some paint chips and some more shading in the grill . Definitely some Star Wars music in the infotainment area. Really an awesome build. Thanks for the great videos. Truly inspirational.
Thank you so much!
Congratulations on another fantastic job!! And Marry Christmas!!!🎅🏻
Thank you my friend, merry Christmas!
Looks really awesome! your nephew has the best uncle in the galaxy 👍
Thank you so much . . . I think so too 😂
Love it talk modding the speed out of it! Just to cool!
Thank you!
Enjoyed the video! Subscribed last week. Love the channel and the way you make us feel like we're hanging out with you instead of just watching a video. Merry Christmas bro
Thanks so much! We really appreciate you subscribing. When we build we always imagine everyone right there with us, so I’m glad it comes across that way.
Have a great holiday.
The only addition I would add is a boost to the speed. Not sure about the lights you added but the powerwheels I have messed with can handle a straight doubling of the battery power.
Oooh! Thanks Wayne, yeah we didn’t mess with the speed, but maybe when he gets a bit better with the controls!
I just binged on all your videos! I’m inspired to do more with my kit bashing!
Copeious that’s awesome!! Thank so much!
This build is awesome!!
Looks like a lot of fun and your nephew looks pretty happy btw who wouldn’t be happy I love
You’re awesome have happy merry Christmas and a happy new year !😊🎉
Steve McAllen thank you!!! Merry Christmas to you and yours!
That is pretty freakin AWESOME.
Dirk's NUMA Files thank you!!!
Have a Merry Christmas!!!
Merry Christmas!!!!
Whatever you do next, Im sure itll be great man! This channel deserves way more subs than it does have. 👍👍👍
Marco Junarta / TTP thank you so very much. Merry Christmas
This is overall a pretty spectacular build, And I am sure that your nephew will absolutely love it. If time had permitted I am sure that you would have added a mp3 player and a walky talky setup either like a cb radio or a plug in headset.
You have really improved the toy and made it look good.
Man!!!! a communications system would have been a great add!!! Certainly an MP3 player would have been much better than the stock audio player too. Thanks!
Wonderful work as always, dude. That thing looks sweet! Merry Christmas to you and yours, my friend. MTFBWY.
Thank you!!! Merry Christmas to you as well!
Epic!
Thank you!
Love your videos brother
I appreciate that
Now I need to get one of these for my kids and 'project' the crap out of it! That is so awesome!
Since you did ask what we'd add: maybe more LEDs and that's it. Overall it looks great that way you went with your idea.
* Your airbrushing is getting way better! Keep up the great work!!
Thank you! Yes, more lighting all around would really have gone a long way to make this better. Thanks for the airbrush comment, it stresses me out, but you have to keep trying right?
@@TheSmugglersRoom never give up. Practice makes perfect!!
I just picked up one on clist. Perfect condition except the windshield which has a large crack. I like what you did but I was think of doing a dirty window look like military vehicles look like after years in the sandbox. It would look cool and conceal the crack. I was going to start testing out different paints and coatings but I wanted to see if you had any suggestions. Great vid.
Love the Spaceballs sticker!
Thank you, we got a kick out of that too!
Would have been fun to cram a Mr. Fusion on there someplace. Also would have liked to see the front/side nose ridges get some kind of a wash or something to bring out the ridges a bit more.. GroundFX (some purple LEDs underneath) would have been a great extension of that LED switch.
Looks fantastic though!
Thank you! And you are 100% correct, a Mr. Fusion would have been PERFECT!
Looks amazing, even the emperor would be proud...
🤣🤣🤣 thank you!
I grabbed one these at toys r us when they were closing for $99. My daughter was only 1 at the time so over the years it has sat and build dirt. I recently took it out and cleaned it up now that she’s turning 4 but there’s a lot of things that can’t be cleaned anymore like the shiny front dash glass it comes with now being yellow. I need to figure how to repair/replace the battery since it wasn’t charged for a long time but I would love to find a place like this that could customize it also. Glad I found this video I will definitely be looking around Los Angeles
awesome work! "IF" i were to add anything.... i work in fabrics, so i would have made a seat cover that looked like padded & tufted bantha hide. i might also hang chance cubes from the dash. but again, fantastic work.
Oh yes!!! That would have been a great idea. I think next time before I do something like this I’m going to have to reach out to you all for suggestions. Both of these would have been great!
Very wild, my girlfriend and I were just talking Saturday about how we missed the boat on buying a few of those on clearance for our dogs (and my nephews, but mainly the dogs)... Planning on doing a Jurassic Park Jeep for them this summer.
LOL!!! What a great dog ride!! 🤣🤣🤣 can’t wait to see your Jurassic Jeep!!!
and great job getting it done before chirstmas.!
Thanks . . . it was a close one :)
Love it. What a great build and a fantastic Christmas present.
As to what I would have done differently, maybe stick a smoking pipe on the end of one of the thrusters?
Thank you so much, you have inspired me to renovate my room into a full star wars screen accuate replica. I have watched all of your videos and have taken so much away from them. My personal favorites is the smuggler's room videos. I just wanted to say that you have had a big influence on what I consider to be a true star wars fan. I myself am a pretty big fan. Hope you see this because I want to ask you if you could do a build with working switches and buttons. Thanks again.
Thank you very much for the kind words, we are thrilled to hear you are going to be working on a room build! We’ll be getting back to our room very very soon! What kind of buttons and switches would you want to see us work with?
Maybe ones with functions like turning on lights or stuff like that. You could also make it look like the control for the room.
honestly, other than i would have used a transparent brown or smoke paint for the windshield or maybe even an actual window tint film instead of blacking out the windscreen and opening the square "holes" in the intake grid and put some greeblies behind it to make those more "real", i really cant think of anything else to improve it.you did an amazin job
Thank you! I wish I had more time as I would have to tied it as well. Appreciate the feedback!!!
Cool mods. Maybe a set of pc fans with silver frill hanging under carriage moving to represent the speeder floating.
Three of those miniature jet engines in place of the pods.
paspax 🤣
Very cool! Nicely done! If I had the time and money, I'd buy one of these, or maybe even one of the smaller speeder toys and scale it up and make a full size one and put it on a frame for a large go kart type of ride.
Definitely! My father bought one and a go cart, I’ve been dying to see him do something with it. Thanks for watching!
First comment lol!!! Love the build, love the story behind it!! that's one very lucky little boy!!! Great work as always. From my family to yours Merry Christmas
Thank you so much, Merry Christmas to you as well!
I would have used Tamiya transparent blue to tint the windscreen, either that or doubled down on the scratches a bit, it is a desert planet after all and the sand would blast the heck out of it. Another good source for engine type greeblies is actual engine parts like solid fuel lines from fuel injector harnesses. Maybe you can find a friendly near by repair shop that will let you pick through their scrap parts, they may even be pre weathered lol. My only concern is the brightness of those LEDs. They seem bright enough in the video that they could cause eye damage. Overall cool build. Merry Christmas!
Love your suggestions. I think if I were building a full size for me I certainly would go with actual engine parts. We played it a little safe since our nephew is only 5, but I like were your head's at!
I will be adding red LEDs to the thrusters that will be hooked to the on/off pedal switch. But ours is still NIB until my son is old enough to neither kill nor die with his speeder.
Oh yes, for sure. I literally said that to my wife as we watched him drive off in it, I also wish I would have had time to add sound to that as well so the speeder sound blasted with the pedal. Just not enough time.
You need to build a full size one. With your talent it would be awesome!!!!!
Thank you! Yeah, we had discussed that several times, and then we decided to convert our Polaris RZR into a speeder/ship . . . you'll be seeing that this spring, it should be crazy!
I'd like to see you make Revan's armor set! That would be wicked!
ooooh, that would be a great build!
Blacklight paint and podrace stickers
oh that would have been interesting. I love the idea of stickers, similar to a Nascar Car, would be funny to add "Star Wars" style stickers like that.
Man, I'd *love* to be small enough to justify having 1 of those. After the lightsaber, it's a close run thing between that and an astromech droid for my 2nd favourite piece of Star Wars tech. An astromech is cool 'n all (although nothing beats the really real R2-D2 - ahem), but driving an *ACTUAL* speeder...sweet!
Oh me too! I wanted to jump in and go for a spin!
Literally, with your talent, you need to apply to Disney land or world and make droids and decorations!
Lol, thank you very much!
awesome :D
Thank you!
Awesome makeover. How about adding C-3PO and R2-D2 to scale like they were driving into Mos Eisley. Merry Christmas to you and your family Brian.
Steve
Thank you Steve, great idea!!! Merry Christmas
When you showed the Spaceballs bumper sticker I very nearly fell out if my chair. Merry Christmas.
J D 🤣🤣🤣 it was all my wife’s idea, she’s hilarious. Merry Christmas!!!
@@TheSmugglersRoom Sounds like my wife. She supports my geekiness, although she does not follow the same path.
J D sounds like we are a pair of lucky men!
When he out grows it, do you get it back? Lol love this build!
We threw a crazy cart in one
Would have liked to have seen rivets instead of all the screw heads. Another spectacular build! Merry Christmas, ol' boy! 👍🏻🎄
I hear ya, I really do. I didn’t have any and I was so tight on time I could barely breath, but you are 100% correct.
Hello love your videos and subscribed! :) I know it’s been a long time but if you don’t mind what color paint did you use for the body. Your work has inspired me to customize one for my son and I have the time till Christmas to for an awesome Christmas present. Thank you again for your work and inspiration! Keep up the great work! Thank you
great job, thats one lucky kid :)
Thank you!
Great job again! How bout some led’s for the thrusters? Happy holidays to you and your family.
Thank you! Yes, I really wish we would have had time for LEDs in the thrusters .. . they really need it. Especially if they were connected to the gas pedal so when he pressed it down they lit up, and engine sounds tied to that would have been great too.
Great, now I want one for my commute to work.... #coolkid #handyuncle
Right???? Me too!!!
