Just a quick and simple Crystal upgrade to my Seiko GMT SSK005. I`ve been wanting to upgrade the Harlex Crystal to a sapphire crystal. I saw this red AR sapphire and thought it would be a good match. I think I was right. What do you think?

Yes they are, however the gaskets are different between the SKX and the SSK

It would be really nice you could replace the movement with the Miyota 9075 flyer's GMT movement into this watch. I really like the dual 24 hour bezels which make this watch more functional for real world purposes.

What is that tool you used to remove the original crystal? It looks like a case back press machine, but you used it for pulling?

Exactly right. Use a smaller die and flip the case over to push it out.
