Hi Robert, I want to show you a shortcut in question c. The remainder( answer) is the original number that was being cubed except the numbers below 3 and multiples of 6.For example:
5 cubed=125= 120+5 r5
7 cubed= 343= 103+7 r7

Hi Robert, I want to show you a shortcut in question c. The remainder( answer) is the original number being cubed except the numbers below 3 and multiples of 6.For example:
5 cubed=125= 120+5 r5
7 cubed= 343= 103+7 r7
8 cubed= 512 = 512/12; r8
which gives us the clear answer: 2 and 8. Well, that is what you wanted, a quicker method!
