I cut the top portion of the boots off. Now I have full range of motion and you can't even tell that they are cut. Also, it's not easy, but you can loop the belt through the belt loops on the harness to prevent it flopping around. It also helps hold the leg strap up. Great review!

I was thinking of slicing the front, back and sides of his boots so that I could articulate his feet. To me, this was the only real change they could've made. So necessary for this character.

Without a doubt this Blade is a great figure, due to the quality of the material of the clothing and the amount of accessories, plus the sculpting of the face is amazing, it is 100% Blade by Wesley Snipes. Hey Justin! I'm so happy to say I just purchased this guy. The online store I frequent had him in stock so, yeah, I jumped on it. Since I have the SooSoo Toys version on preorder, I think I'll display this version with the puffer jacket. He looks amazing with the puffer. Man, I'm so glad he became available again. Can't wait to see him in person.

This figure looks incredible, I do not own any 1/6 scale blade figure, I am definitely getting him, blade is one of my favourite marvel characters, I think that a second angry headsculpt showing the vampire fangs could have been perfect, great review Justin

Great review i totally agree with you this is the best blade figure out there and yes better than the Hot Toys. Wesley snipes is not a tall guy in real life his uperbody was quite muscular in blade but i understand why present toys chose this body otherwise the clothes would look too bulky. With the clothes on and the right pose this figure looks really Good in my opinion. For the people that say the Hot Toys head sculp is better no way this one got more details and texture and the right skin tone. I'm happy i got mine three weeks ago. I'm looking out for your review of the soosootoys blade figure when it comes out.👍🏻
10000% agreed e pet the part of snipes body .on blade 2.he wasn't bulky. check the bath blood or the fight scene with the ninjas .I not bulky

This is why I prefer your review videos. I watched a few others and people just bashed it and said they would give the head sculpt a 3 out 10, I bought it regardless and will get the Blade Trinity one from Soosoo toys but I feel better now lol

When he has the long trench coat. Looks all in proportion.
When he goes down to the bomber jacket or just shirt… suddenly his head and neck look out of proportion to his body.
It’s like the head is set too high, or the shoulders aren’t bulked up enough.
But!
Soon as that trench coat goes on, he looks perfect.
I think this figure looks better with the shades on, without… it’s passable.

A worthy effort, but I passed on this one for the SooSoo Toys "Vampire Hunter." Preorder, due Q3 2024. TWO headsculpts (that aren't bug-eyed) and trousers that are more accurate (not leather, as you correctly pointed out). Thanks for your excellent reviews, Justin.

The display base is so bulky like the hot toys bases but at the same time it's neccessary with him not having ankle movement.

Pretty good figure I really wish he comes with those UV grenades that were in the film Including the box with the wire up ones To replicate like they're about to go off into a big explosion to kill all the reapers.

The thing i like about present toys compared to other third-party companies they are remaking old hottoys figures. Most of us new collectors are missing out and so expensive and feel outdated to buy it. I can't wait for Ghost Rider, my holy grail of all figures

My Favorite Blade's Quotes from part 1 and 2 Movie. Blade (1998) Scene, "Daywalker's" Quotes. Blade - "There are worse things out tonight than Vampires!?" Dr. Karen Jenson - "Like what?" Blade - "Like me!" Blade 2 (2002) Scene, Daywalker's Quotes. Blade - "Keep your Friends close, keep your Enemies closer." Present Toys is almost up there with Hot Toys. The New Blade 2 Figure, really Screamed Wesley Snipes. I truly love his Iconic Black Shades, Black Leather Trench Coat, and inside Outfit as well. I also dig the New Accessories. And lastly, my Favorite of the bunch was Blade's Iconic Sword. 🤩😎😃👍👍

I definitely prefer the soso toys headsculp from what we've seen of it...but its blade 3...and...yeah, no thanks 😂. This looks great with the shades on. But not so much without them. But the genuine leather suit is a huge selling point for longevity.
I just wish they/someone made a blade 1 version. Like why do they all avoid the best film and the best suit?

How good do the crotch grabbers work? I have rotj Vader ordered and am a little afraid of him Falling. Never had a hot toys before.
Quite good, but with that figure make sure the grabber is not up against the suit long term, just have it hovering close enough to catch him if he falls

Also. Blade 2 outfit didnt have leather pants. Looking at the film used suit, they were like a matte neoprene like material.

I'm not fan of this head sculpt. The eyes are too buggy. The lower lid should have been brought up to the lower part of the iris. The nose bridge needs to be more flaired. The ears are too large and are too high up, they should be lower. Once you put the sunglasses on, i can see Wesley. Without, i don't! Good review!

I tentatively disagree that the Present Toys Blade blows the HT one out of the water. This is based on comparisons I have seen of the two. I was able to get my hands on the HT blade and will do an in person comparo with the Present Toys Blade (which I have in hand and have been displaying in a Midnight Sons display with Dr. Strange, AOS Ghost Rider and Moon Knight hee hee). The differences / negatives I have noticed just off comparos are as follows:
* Definitely the Present Toys sculpt seems better then the HT's one, but it still doesn't capture Snipes in Blade 2 to a tee. Its ok. Def not a HT re-cast, and has better paint then HT but still not there least imo. Especially when you take off the glasses.
* HT, Present Toys, and some other 3rd party Blade makers seem to get the mounting of the scabbard wrong when it comes to putting it in the long trench coat. You should not be able to see the sheath when he has it in his trench coat. You should only be able to see the hilt of the sword.
* I agree with others when they say Present Toys Blade is short. Its not that he is Wolverine short. He's just an inch or so off. The HT one is taller. You can tell. And lPresent Toys looks like they used the wrong body. His head looks too big for it. Body should be more muscular and filled out. Wesley was not a skinny dude at all in Blade 2. And the almost non existent ankle articulation. Come on now lol.
* Present Toys using real leather vs pleather...hell yea. They definitely upped HTs on that.
Overall the Present Toys one is a cool pick up if you missed out on the HT Blade imo and aren't willing to ay aftermarket prices for it for what I have seen. Again will do in person comparo. I was able to get it for a decent price but that's not always the case for everyone, and the HT's one doesn't have leather soft goods. I'm highly anticipating the SooSootoys Blade. That seems like it will be the best to date of Blade figures. Now lets see if SooSoo actually releases it this year (you know how soo slow does 😁).

That f bomb was a little forced wasn't it lol. that head sculpt was fine, the lips completely ruined it, but it definitely does look better than the hot toys one

Wesley is 5' 9" Jared Leto is 5' 11" so the scaling is pretty much perfect

hes body on blade 2 is less .so the body on the present toys is acurate.
the present toys is 100% more acurate as the hot toys body and size. wesley snipes is not tall.
the only flaws is the sunglasses totally inacurate. .to big...

Unfortunately for me, this does not beat the Hot Toys version. It's not as detailed, and the head sculpt is not as good. You need to take a look at the Hot Toys one in a side by side comparison before you make the decisive conclusion.
