5:00 slide I believe is incorrect when it says that it has strong consistency guarantees. Rather than Strong Consistency, Zookeeper has Sequential Consistency. Still a strong consistency level, but not the linearizability that the "C" in CAP implies. (From Google): sequential consistency implies that operations appear to take place in some total order, and that that order is consistent with the order of operations on each individual process.

In the Zookeeper paper they state, that ZK has linearizable writes. For reads they relaxed this property to improve Performance.
