Thank you! i really didnt expect to get in to the top 10, kinda find out that ive made it cuple of days after the voting, but its a damm shame your build didnt make it, its absolutely killer! love the shape, the etching, the bridge it should totaly be in the top 10, love the videos, but its a shame that ''classic'' shapes got in insted of cuple more epic builds like yours!
@@KorezGuitars Thanks man, I realized that we the builders are the only ones how take this competition seriously, even the judges dont seem to know or care what this thing is all about and are not putting the time to watch and understand each build. It's a shame but perhaps we shouldn't take it so seriously as well. I was screaming " THIS IS A GUITAR BUILDING COMPETITION!" All the time, But it's really not... 😓 I really glad for you and maybe 4 more in the top 10, the rest are very lucky. Cheers Dude🤘🏽
@@KorezGuitars Just this all popularity aspect of things and the lack of updates in the GGBO site, and now the judges dont taking the time to do their job properly... I'm just disappointed, that's all.
@@HashtaGuitars its a bit sad to hear this, at the start of the year it was hyped and looked pretty cool, now it sounds like they took a bigger bite than they can chew, but there still trying to get down the how to's, because the competition got basicly 4x bigger than last year, thats a big hecking jump, but im hopefull there gonna work it out so its gonna work smooth in the future build off's
Finally someone who agrees, that those colours looked off!! most people just like it and thats it and i dont know why. It honestly looked like its nightime, but someone forgot to turn of the lights in the clouds xD

yes! the recording will probably start this week, the paint had to cure for 2 months because of the relicing proccess! recording of it should start this week
started with a 15mm forstner bit so it has clearance for the nut, then drilled a 6,7mm hole for the post, then i used a 19mm hole saw to get the round shape, then basicly just glue the brass ring on the top to close off one end of the hole
@@KorezGuitars Thank you very much! How did you attach the hole saw bit? Or better yet what brand bit did you purchase. I have some but there's also bit in the center which makes it hard to get the knobs out once they are cut. Im not entirely sure how to remove the center bit and still have it mount to my drill press
@@punkstudios9955 these hole saws are super old so i dont know where there from, but there should be a screw that holds in the center bit, if you remove that, you can start making the knobs. After its been cut, you have to loosen the knob that holds the saw and gently tap on the post that you put in the chuck, cuple of wacks should get it out
I'm a huge fan of Hokusai and just happen to be building my first guitar right now (an Iceman!) so this build is just right up my alley!

well i would told em to get some water, spill it on the guitar, put the wet guitar in the freezer and boom you have your self a iceman
