Trains at Penzance, CML - 17/2/18

- Welcome to the first episode of Rover! The brand new series where I film at stations in order from Penzance and continuing up the line. In this video I visited Penzance station on the Cornish Main Line and the terminus station of it. Services are seen by Great Western Railway and CrossCountry.
Penzance was brilliant to return to again! The station sees so much in terms of scenery and in this particular session, quite a bit of variety too. I enjoyed the weather too, it made for some lovely lighting whilst filming. The architecture is lovely and there is a decent amount of facilities. I will always aim to re-visit this station.
The only negative point I could add about this station is that there are large gaps sometimes inbetween two services.

Thank you Thomas! Think you meant 57604, it's in an old livery with the Pendennis Castle livery, it's my favourite 57 which says a lot as I'm not a massive fan of them.
Omg I saw you at the end of the platform. I was on the 1000 to Paddington. Can't actually believe it 😂 I like like 800 miles away from Penzance I was only there for that day 😂😂

Great video. The 150/1s are definitely becoming a rare sight now and if you did not know already 150120 went off lease with 150108 + 150128 on Saturday so your 150/1 stalker has gone from the SW :)
Thank you bud, yep they are indeed becoming more and more rare. I was well aware of 150120 and intend to celebrate it in a video next week. 😂

Over here in Australia we call these the XPT sets. I think you call them HST sets???? They are identical in shape but are created for our standards. They started running here in 1982 I think. Your video is awesome thank you.
