How I Saved My Locs from Lice! | Effective Lice Treatment & Hair Care Tips for Healthy Dreads

Join me as I take you through my step-by-step process for getting rid of lice in my locs naturally!
1️⃣ CACATIN Treatment: I applied CACATIN in excess layers and wrapped for 2 days to suffocate adult lice effectively.
2️⃣ Heat Wrap: After CACATIN application, I wrapped my head in a nylon bag and towel to produce the heat necessary to kill lice eggs.
3️⃣ Baking Soda Treatment: After the second night, I mixed half a cup of baking soda in warm water, soaked my hair thoroughly, and rinsed with cool water.
4️⃣ Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse: I then soaked my locs in a mixture of 3 cups of water and 1 cup of apple cider vinegar for several minutes before rinsing with cool water.
5️⃣ Mentholated Shampoo: I washed and rinsed my hair multiple times with a mentholated shampoo, focusing on the scalp, roots, and shafts, until the water ran clean.
6️⃣ Moisturization: Finally, I moisturized my hair with a mixture of water, coconut oil and ten drops of lavender essential oil and lemon grass essential oil each.
