I save my best for last, so be sure to keep watching! Happy crafting sweet friends! Who else is excited about Christmas, lol. Hugs to all! ❤
To me, there are two seasons: Christmas and almost Christmas. 😄
@@colleen6304 lol that’s awesome!
No I will get in the Christmas spirit when it's Christmas! It's only just the beginning of autumn, like still 3 months away..I get you want the like and want to be the first at everything as you all do,but it's really off putting. I shall unsub until Dec as I do all that do this trying to rush your life past you as quickly as possible.
You do you!! It's really amazing how fast December will be upon us and we'll be out of time! I mix Fall/Thanksgiving & Christmas up, do a little of each. Don't do Halloween, not my thing at all.
@@janeevans4758 I hear you! I used to have the same reaction until I discovered that a huge portion of people who craft for the holidays start months ahead, so they can open up time to enjoy other holiday activities with family and friends. It’s not that we want to be “first”, rather we want to provide inspiration to the many who are asking for it earlier. My girlfriend is a great example! She crafts all of her Christmas decor in September and does all of her gift shopping and wrapping in October and then in November and December she just lays back and watches Hallmark movies all day and bakes cookies and cakes savoring in the glow of it all. She also goes up to Whistler for snow fun. For those people that enjoy crafting closer to Christmas, my vids are already up and rolling. Everyone is happy that way 😂. ❤🎅🎄🙏
So my husband watched a bit of this video with me and he says, "she's basically the Macgyver of crafting". It totally amused me but he's right. You're awesome!
Aww😂 tell your husband thanks for the awesome compliment!❤
🤣 You know, you’re really showing your age here, only those of us old enough to have watched MacGyver know who he is. 🤣😂
@@scrumps101 I Googled it😂. I have heard of that show, but never watched it.
Tell him that is spot on! She is amazing!!❤
That is awesome. Yes that is amusing. He is correct .
I am blown away at these crafts! After each and every one I say "I've gotta make this!" Thank you!
First of all, I love the color of your nails ☺️☺️☺️! The one thing that really sticks out to me besides how clever you are with your crafting, is how gentle and carful you are while you are crafting!!
I try! Thank you! 🎄❤️🎅🎩
I get so excitedwhen I hear you say Santa. My 4 year old watches these videos with me and gets gets so happy to hear adults say Santa claus
Aww
My mom is loving this today she is a retired Girl Scout Leader and she loves crafts she is 88 ! 😁
Wow, thank you!
When trimming the the extra off the green garland save the clippings to use as grass or additional color on another project. A bread twist tie would work to hold jingle bells to paint or connect to project.
The birch wood can came out perfect!!!!
the dog/cat nail clippers form dollar tree also work amazingly to cut round wooden dowels.
Your voice is soothing & calming… some of us who may suffer from anxiety actually listen for the calm that you exude. I just subscribed. Thank you.
Aww, thank you Paula! Maybe I should tag myself as ASMR as so many people say that, lol. Happy crafting my friend! xox
I do suffer from anxiety and I thought the very same thing watching this video!
Thank you so much going to try all these with my 5 year old granddaughter, she loves doing crafts with her nana. Love making memories with her
Your birch log looks like you cut it from an actual birch tree!!! Amazing!!
Thank you ❤
THANK YOU for reusing items that others just throw away in the garbage. I LOVE how you repurpose foam, green chile cans, coffee cans, etc. WELL DONE!
Thank you 🎄🎄❤️☃️☃️🎅🧑🎄
Holly each DIY today were stunning. I love each of them no way could l pick a favorite. All such good ideas
Thank you 🎄❤️🎩
Someone called you a MrGuyver, but, and I will say you have been touched with the angel of Mcguyverism. Congratulations you are the winner of creativity. Thank you so much for sharing. You re amazing. Loved your tutorial.
Thank you so much! Much love to you Helen! ❤🎄🧑🎄🎅☃️☃️🎄❤️
Want to sharpen those scissors? Rinse out an aluminum can (soda/beer) and remove the top with a serrated edge knife and scissors. Aluminum sharpens steel. Line up all your shears. Slice down the can about 5 times per shear. Be sure to open your scissors all the way to do all the blade. Works on all scissors.
Oh? Awesome tip! Thank you 😊
If you ant to pain a lot of beads put them on plastic bag with some paint. Then roll the beads around in the bag until they are covered it save time and mess. Roll them out on some paper towels to dry. Do not use to much paint. Thanks for this video it was really good with lots of info
Great idea!!
Holly, your channel is so beautiful! From your lovely crafts to your soft, gentle voice, it is so very relaxing and inspiring to watch. Thank you so much for sharing your self, your talent and your projects with us 💕
Aww, Thank you for leaving such a beautiful comment 🎄❤️🎅🎩
@@HotHumblePie++++
Wow! You've got pure talent. You can make anything look so beautiful.
Aww thank you Sara! ❤️🎅🎄
I like all these crafts but I think my favorite is your painted tree. I love that
Holly I LOVE all these. I have just about everything to make all these. You have truly inspired me today. We hope to be in our new home soon and I have all these craft supplies I have purchased since I learned of diy's on You Tube. I have several things and many things I made for gifts and everyone has been over whelmed with all that I have done. Of course God has given me the ability to paint and then the inspiration I get from you and the others I follow. You do the most reasonable and cheaper but all look so high end. I am SOLD to you.
I’m so glad you’re enjoying my vids! Thank you! 🎄❤️🎅🎩
Rarely am I impressed by diy crafts, but your milk can was amazing, absolutely spot on.
Well done!
Thank you very much!
I'm on a tight budget so l really appreciate the one$ or less crafts! Thank you!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤❤❤❤
OK, I must admit ... I didn't have a lot of faith in crafts involving popsicle sticks, but those Christmas houses turned out wonderfully!!! Totally surprised (and wrong in my assumptions about popsicle sticks!) and now I want to make that one myself. Beautiful! Thank you!
ETA: And the snowflake jars! Love, love, love! I'm saving all of my jars now. Dollar Tree, here I come!
ETA 2: I love all your videos, but this one ... I'm saving it to go back to later. There are a bunch of crafts that I want to make from this video.
That’s awesome! Glad you enjoyed it!! ❤🎄🎅
I love all of theses beauty's so much I have watched it three times already. Thank you for sharing. Have a beautiful and blessed week.🎄❤️😍
Thank you ❤
I learned every time I watch this video I learn more. I work over a litter box spot for that very purpose to catch you all the bits and pieces of yarn ribbon trimming pine and cutting dowels. Also when making the folded Stars I work with cereal boxes and pizza boxes that have white lining so I have a clean back and only have to paint one side. I also use the back of a table knife to score my fold lines so that they fold easily.
Great ideas!
This was the best DHI craft video. I love the ingenuity & finished look of these beautiful crafts. What an inspiration! So glad I found your channel.
Thank you!! ❤️
Amazing 🤩🤩! That can really looks like Birchwood!!! Your talent just amazes me! I love trying out the crafts you make! My favorite one is the sleigh you created.. mine actually turned out almost as gorgeous!! TY SO much for sharing!!! 🥰🥰🥰
Thank you! 🎄🎅❤️
Holly you are by far my favorite DIY'er!
Thank you! 🎄🎅❤️

So happy to see Christmas diys!! I always look forward to your videos and get super excited when I see a new one!! LOVE the snowan hat! Love all things snowman!! TYFS!
Thank you! 🎄🎅❤️
My mind is going a mile a minute with all the things I want to make. Thank you for sharing your ideas and talent.
You are so welcome!
For your barn. If you want to leave it up all year round and switch out the wreath seasonally, Glue a small earth magnet to the barn and then one to your different seasonal wreaths. Then you can quickly switch out the wreaths and they can be neatly stored on a magnetic surface.
Holly i really love your crafts. Your very talented. Blessed. When I watch your videos it makes me want to go right up in my craft room an get ta crafting. Thank you fir blessing me with your gift of crafting
Thank you! 🎄🎅❤️
I absolutely LOVE each and every one of these projects! So each and adorable. I will be making several, maybe all, of them! You'll have to show us your mantle and other places you decorate! Thank you, Holly, so much!
Love your milk can ! I have a real one that I adore! You have So many adorable crafts on the this time !
Thank you! 🎄❤️🎅🎩
Love all these Holly. My favourites are the houses and the barn. TFS. Have a great week.
Always wanted a wood shop, I'm a carpenter. Figured I'd build cabinets and you know wood stuff LOL. Now I'm 60 and finally building my "wood" shop and now I watch all these channels about crafting and I'm driving myself crazy going "I can do that and that and that" I still work full time as a carpenter building decks and screen porches. It will give me a plethora of scrap wood, vinyl, PVC, and aluminum. I have many ideas already. Also, home building in my area seems to be never-ending and you can dumpster dive building sites all day long for free stuff. I feel the easy part and fun will be to make things. The problem and hardest thing will be how to unload/sell everything. I already see things and say "Oh you could do this with that" I have a problem with wanting to try "EVRYTHING" only time will tell. I may end up on the show hoarders LOL
Lol as long as you’re having fun!
Oh my goodness I just love all of these!!! Thank you 😊 💓 for the inspiration and how to's. 👏
When painting wood beads....Load Them on a wood food skewer ( bag of them at dollar tree).. then you can paint all sides at once, then just have a shoe box or something wide enough to sit the skewers across till the beads dry.
Oh my Holly, these are beautiful. You really are wonderful! You're painted tree looks like it is jumping off the wood. So pretty!
Thank you 😊
Loved the painted tree, great job for a novice. I recently bought a fan brush that works beautifully for wispy stroke. They come in varying sizes as well, and do the job when it comes to very small trees. Trees are so forgiving to draw and paint! All your projects were great!
Thank you ❤
Each and every craft was better then the one before it. Holly you are so talented. Thank you for sharing. Loved them all.
I make color copies of the calendar pages.. that way I still have the calendar for future use and also a better grade of paper to glue down.
Holly, I really enjoy your crafts and your voice, Your not yelling and over talking for each craft. Very nice to listen too. Have a great holiday.
Just love your techniques they do make everything so real. And I don’t have a lot of room for crafting and holding supplies, but boy I sure am going to keep a few jars, cans and such! Thanks for sharing and keep crafting my friend. Bonnie from SC
Thank you 😁❤️🎄🥰🍁🍁😘
Hi,thank you so much for all the freebies. That jar is gorgeous. All,of your ideas is brilliant, you are very talented artist. I would have never thought to use a pot holder for crafting, lovely idea. I love the red barn. The Christmas tree is gorgeous, I cannot freehand anything. I sure wish I could freehand like you do,awesome job.
Thank you! 🎄🎅❤️
I just want to say WOW. All those things you made are so great. I will try those for sure. You are the best. Take Care.
Thank you for such a sweet comment! Happy crafting 🎅🎄🎄🎩💕❤️😊
The Idea of the Milk Can is So Awesome 🥰
Very cute and fun ideas you had thank you for sharing them with us ❤️🤗❤️
Thank you 🎄❤️🎩
So many beautiful projects I can't choose a favorite. Definitely going to make a few of these. Thanks and GOD bless.
Thank you 🎄❤️🎅🎩
I love the birchwood can!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love every one of these, the houses being my favorite. Since I saw you taking the top layer off of the cardboard, I have used it that way many, many times. One way is making pumpkin stems by rolling it up and either painting it or covering it with twine, really cute.
Sounds super cute!! ❤
Hi, you are the Queen Of DIYs you did beautifully and amazing work on all of your Christmas Decor they all look High-End I love how when you did your painting on the Christmas Tree blended the colors in absolutely beautiful thank you for sharing all of your ideas can't wait to see what you bring to next time.💯🌲

That’s awesome!!! ❤️🎄🎩🎅Send me photos on Pinterest! Love to see!
WOW! How wonderful to bring back the “creativity “ in your videos. I’m glad I subscribed and I will refer to this video many times. Thank you for sharing! You have shown that you don’t need a million dollars to create something that is uniquely yours!
Thank you! 🎄❤️🎅🎩
I love the tree 🌳 ❤️....
I really like them all you are very creative
The wood dowel tree my son made a cross in Bible school years ago but I stead of the dowel he uses matches ... they lit the matches then immediately blew them our ..I still have it and he just turned 45
Thank you! 🥰❤️
Holly, I found this tutorial very well done and your teaching style breaks down the steps. I’m a creative as well, and I’d love to work beside you to learn editing skills and fades. Your staging for photographing your crafts was excellent!!
Thank you 😊
The red barn turned out so cute!!!
love love love the Birchwood can. !!!!!
I love the everything bagel seasoning. It's great on avocado toast and I've even put it on you no-knead bread to fancy it up a little. When the bread is almost done, I put an egg wash the sprinkle it on, bake for 5-8 minutes. Don't want the garlic to burn and get bitter.
As always, love your videos. The website looks great and the print is SO much better. Great job Josh!
Hi Josh! Sounds yummy!
My favorite is the driftwood tree and my second favorite is the three different types of trees towards the end of the video. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️🎄🎄🎄
You are so talented. Love all of your crafts, but I love the tree that you painted mostly.
I liked the tiny house and trees. Cute, easy to make. Thank you.
Wonderful, professional ideas!! To paint beads, put in a lidded container with some paint and shake. May take a couple coats depending on the look you are going for. 😁❤
Great idea! Thank you 🎄🎅❤️❤️🎩
I loved all of your projects Holly.. They really turned out so pretty. TFS with us.💜💜
Thank you! 🎄🎅❤️
Loved the black snowman hat with snow trim!
Oh Holly, the 3 tree houses are my Favorite. I was thinking that those little fairy string lights may also be pretty in with the greenery.
Thank you! 🎄🎅❤️
Love the black top hat. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! 🎄🎅❤️
My first time on your site and I love your work. You are truly blessed with talent. Thank you!
Thank you Sharlene! Glad you enjoyed it. ❤️🎄🎅🎅
🇨🇦 beads and paint in a ziploc bag…massage…and hang strand to dry. Voilà! Painted beads! ❤️❤️❤️Victoria BC 🇨🇦
Great tip
Holly, thank you for making things so upscale yet at an affordable price. So excited to make some of these like the barn, milk can.....just beautiful and Christmas is my favorite time of the year.
My pleasure! Thank you for watching ❤
Loved the video! it was real peaceful, with your calm voice & music in your description, very helpful and simple little ornaments made out of recycled items, they came out so nice & realistic, you just displayed them so well, if I could only find the time to do it that would be a pleasure, Thank you! so much for sharing...✌️❤️🌟❄️🌲
Thank YOU! xxx
I always love your DIY’s. You are so cleaver and have a great imagination.
Thank you for such a sweet comment! Happy crafting 🎅🎄🎄🎩💕❤️😊
It's funny you used a formula can for the snowmen hat. I saved my grandson's last formula can to make one for him. I made one a few years back from a coffee can and used it as a tree topper.
I’ve done that too ❤️🎅🎄👍🏻
The bowl on top of the little reversible milk jug would be a great place to put small packets of hot chocolate!
I like all of the DIY'S, but I love the tree! Thank you for sharing these.
Thank you 🎄❤️🎅🎩
@@HotHumblePie you are very welcome

Hi, Hot Humble Pie you did amazing work on all of your Christmas DIYs they look like High-End Decor with so much detail and color on some thank you for sharing 🏫🎄🎆

Holly you are such an exceptional crafter. I truly mean it. I just love everything you make! Thank you so so much for sharing all you know. I have the talent, but just don't put it to work. Instead I'm always watching you and putting myself in your place. One day maybe I'll find out how to get into craft shows and make items to sell. Just something that sounds interesting to me. Anyway, I love ya and hugs till next time.❤🤗❤🤗❤
Thank you Nancy ❤ and happy crafting!!
I love her too!! She actually inspired me to get out of my comfort zone and try selling my stuff! question for you, does it sound like she has a cold? or is she talking a bit slower? I'm CONCERNED FOR OUR GURU!!!!!
@@timmelindastanton5971 I'm sorry I can't say as though I noticed. But I hope our Miss Holly is doing well.😊
I don't know why I never found your channel before, but I am totally in love with everything you do. You do it all with such finesse and everything turns out so beautiful. I've been crafting a long time and I just can't believe some of the things you use and come up with those beautiful projects. Keep crafting my friend!
Thank you so much! Welcome to my channel Darlene! xox
Hey Holly I was absolutely blown away with these Christmas crafts!!! You did an amazing job and your tutorial was so simple to follow! You are hands down one of the most talented and creative people. I do not know how you come up with all these idea! But I’m so glad you you do! Lol

Holly, you have the absolutely best painting techniques! Whenever you make a faux wood it looks so real! I love your crafts and your channel.
Thank you! 🎄🎅❤️
Hi Holly, just a quick "Hello" and to Thank You for sharing your awesome 💡 ideas! I have not worked out of the house for years and now my (younger😁) Husband has Lung Cancer and is no longer working! Therefore, I am looking to create something to share with our Daughters! Of course, everyone says don't get us anything, etc., but I am struggling yet determined to get creative! Again, thank you for sharing. I so enjoyed every project, you, my Dear, are so very creative 😃🤗 THANKS
Thank you 😊. Hope your husband fully recovers. 🙏❤️
for the primitive brown paper star, i didn't care for the dry brush strokes. instead, i'd suggest putting white paint on a toothbrush (or other stiff brush) and flicking the bristles to throw small white dots on the brown paper before you add any trim to it. less is more! *you have created many great Christmas crafts here!*
Holly, all of your creations are absolutely gorgeous!!! I typically don't watch long videos but I watched every minute of this one...did yardwork today and watched your video off and on while taking my water breaks. What a great way to enjoy the day. Love love love your channel... rarely miss any of your videos. I'm a huge fan of rustic Christmas projects. Thank you for sharing your talent with us!!! Awesome!!!
Thank you Wendy! ❤
Dry brushing is dipping your brush into paint then brushing it back and forth on paper until little of the paint remains. Then you brush back and forth on your project.
My favorite is the drift wood but I love it all
I love the hat. It's so bright and pretty. Can hardly wait to finish watching since you said you leave your best for last !!
The primitive star is pretty too.
The faux Birchwood is totally awesome.🎉
Thank you so much!
Thank you Holly all your DIYs were amazing.💐
Thank you 🎄❤️🎩
I never would have thought of cannibalizing a potholder for decoupage! So many good ideas.
You’re so amazing, loved them all!!
Thank you my friend 🎄❤️🎅🎩
I like the veins on the can because they look like tree branches
