    Sir, I have been investing in NIFTY 50 index fund for past 5 years after seeing your videos as old subscriber. And from this year onwards I have switched newer investments into BSE low Volatility Index fund. As I felt with increasing portfolio size the Volatility was bit too much for me to handle.
    Hope I don't have to switch NIFTY 50 accumulated money into Low Volatility Index Fund as well. Only newer investments SIP change should be enough ?
    I always wanted to keep just one fund. Once I reach the goal then I'll start SWP in retirement. I am 35 years old if it matters.

      @@pattufreefincalthanks for the response and glad to see you're sharing distilled knowledge for new set of young earners.
      Should I take a tax hit and move NIFTY 50 Index fund money to Low Volatility Index fund ?

    I was reading your article on 87A tax rebate benefits are lost if non-taxable MF LTCG is added in ITR. Surprisingly I fell in this loophole and I'm asked to pay 14k tax.
    Can I do something about it now?

    Anna, which way is better to invest mutual fund SOA / Demat Format for long term. Also I am planning to put some portion on etf gold

      @pattufreefincal  Před měsícem +3

      MFs are already in electronic form. There is not need for demat format! And there is no need for gold or ETFs either!

      For long term invest in Small cap mutual funds.
      For Medium term go with Midcap/Multicap

      Regular plan means middleman, means more expense ratio, means lower return to you. In long run like 15-20 years this extra expense of regular plan becomes quite large which goes to middleman. So like Sir said it should be direct.
