First - that cover color is amazing! I agree with you... we all get so caught up in what everyone else is doing, but if we take a step back and look at how we plan and journal we will see that it is unique all on it's own. I purposely have walked away from things before because everyone else was doing it and I wanted to do something different. I get that people want to connect with other's who do the same thing, but our planners and journals should be functional for us. Love this message!

Love this - that in your kindness, you have given encouragement to those of us who have a minimal style by choice or by circumstance. I've been retired for almost 2 years and just recently found my footing again. Been in the planner community for many years and very devoted to planning, productivity and life-long learning. There's, thankfully, so much inspiration out there. We just have to choose what fits us, appreciate and support those who share their systems and ideas.

It really is important for all of us to know we plan so differently and sometimes following what's popular isn't necessarily going to fit our needs. There are so many more artistic individuals who can create a masterpiece out of pencil and paper but that doesn't make my scribbly pages any less productive. hahahahah. TFW 🥰
I found someone like me. 😅 I brain dump the mundane, its part of my life. As an empty-nester & early retired, i dont have all the schedules and events like before. I admit that i struggled for a bit trying to find my identity now that I have a slower pace in life. I have to remember that I'm still a wife, momma of fur babies, momma of grown children and a child of God! Its just now I have more time to plan/journal things that interest me most....beach,gardening,reading etc. All the things I want to do. I'd rather do those things than pretty plan all day 😅 Nothing against that! By the way my personal size is my main squeeze ❤
I totally agree about remembering there is still "more".....just as you found all the other things that interest you even though it's a slower pace, there is still "beach, gardening, reading, etc"....we sometimes forget while trying to make sense of a new transition in life. Congrats on a new chapter in your life! I love my 'personal size', too. TFW & sharing your experience; I loved reading it, sounds like you have a spectacular life that many dream of: 'a great family & retirement'. 🥰
I have loved using Planners for decades, but now that I am an empty-nester, approaching retirement, I have down-sized to pocket/personal-sized inserts because I just don't have that much going on anymore! I love seeing what other people do because they give me great ideas, but I can't stray from my "system." I have that same cover in passport size! Love it!
YES! I agree w/you 100%! I don't stray from my system either 'coz it works. lol. But yes, I do love looking at other planner VIDs, too. I love the May leather so much, it's so vibrant, beautiful and it feels so good in the hands. How do you like your passport? I have been seriously thinking about trying CS passport size but ever since I got my Passport from Traveler's Company & not liking how slim it is.....I am wondering if CS is better since they are generous with the capacity. I've been asking other CS users, too, about the Passport size and they are loving theirs. TFW & sharing your experience. I love it! 😍💕
@@JediUp777 I don't have any TN Covers in Passport Size, only CS Wide. I like the CS Wide because it can accommodate 3 or more inserts plus accessories without the edges of the inserts poking out of the cover. I was thinking I would someday use the Passport sized inserts with a cover as a wallet, so I wanted to get covers that would hold more. I did the same with the Standard Size TN covers--only purchased CS covers that I could get in the wider size! I prefer the leather quality and thickness of CS, and the additional pockets (I always buy the Cascade style.)

It's my 'Home TN' which has all my Dr stuff, Car Repair & Home projects, etc., so I love having all the room in it to write as much as I want. I prefer the Wide vs. the Standard Size TN but I do love my Standard, too. lol.....I think I love all the sizes except the Passport by Traveler's Company; it's just so thin!!!! I do agree that CS leather quality, space & pockets is wonderful & why I keep coming back to them for my TNs. 💕
